Fake Famous written by Dana L. Davis is more than just a story of one Iowa farm girl trying to make her way into the music industry, it's a beautiful story about finding yourself after a lifetime of taking care of other people. The message the author portrayed was deeply touching and resonated with me so much. The family portion of this book was so amazing, it may have caused me to shed a few tears. There's nothing I love more than a supportive family encouraging other family members to put aside their fears and worries and actually following their dreams. I have never read a book by Dana L. Davis before this book, but after loving this one, I will definitely be sure to check out her other books in the near future. I thought the cover was so pretty, which originally made me want to read this book, but of course I saw the lower ratings and was hesitating to actually pick up the book, but once I read the book, I was so happy I did because it was such a beautiful story about family, friendships, and finding your true self. I can't recommend this book enough, please do yourself a favor and go grab a copy of this book immediately. Some people might resonate with this book more than others, but that's okay because everyone has different stories. Some are beautiful, some are heart breaking, some are real, and some are raw.

"Spread your wings and fly, little butterfly" mom whispers into my ear. "Or better yet, soar. Like and eagle!"
Red Morgan is fresh out of high school. Red had no reason to go to college, so she stayed behind to help out on her family farm in a small Iowa town. Red has signature red curly hair and a remarkable singing voice, Red is also a devoted daughter and big sister, the world should be her oyster, but it's not. As a people pleaser, I connected so well with Red, she never put herself first, she always cared about what her family wanted from her and what everyone else thought about her. Zay-Zay Waters is at the top of her game, she's a Brooklyn born singer that has it all, talent, fame, and a smoking hot boyfriend, but life in the pop singer industry isn't all it's cracked up to be. When a video of Red singing in the mud and looks exactly like Zay-Zay goes viral on tiktok, Zay-Zay makes a plan. Zay-Zay decides to show up at Red's family farm and offers her a deal of a lifetime. Zay-Zay wants to take a much needed vacation, so she offers Red to step in and pretend to be Zay-Zay Waters for a week. Red is hesitant to accept Zay-Zay's offer, but the money that Zay-Zay is offering can truly change the life for the family farm. I couldn't help but cheer on Red as she stepped in Zay-Zay's shoes.
Red had this bubbly personality, but a little ways into the book she calmed down a little bit, she was always so hyper. It was so hard not to like her, she was a relatable character that just wanted the best for her family, their farm, and everyone else around her. I laughed, I smiled, I shed a few tears here and there, but overall Fake Famous was just a beautiful story. As someone who is a people pleaser, I totally understand what Red went through, she constantly wanted to please her family and everyone else around her, it's kind of hard to put yourself first when you are worried about making a mistake that can affect those around you, those constantly nagging voices in your head telling you to do better. As I was reading this book, I just wanted to reach into my kindle and give Red the biggest hug ever and tell her to go spread her wings and fly. As a people pleaser myself, words of affirmation is a huge life changer. Like I said before, I think everyone should read this book at some point because it's just so beautiful and deeply touching. The family aspect was so amazing, the encouragement was heart touching in so many ways. Red, girl, you're beautiful, spread your wings and go sing your heart out.
In Fake Famous a small town Iowa farm girl named Red goes viral after she's mistaken for a major popstar. This major popstar Zay Zay Waters then shows up to Red's family farm with a proposition for her: Be her stand in for a week and she'll give her enough money to save her family's struggling farm. Red gets a makeup and heads to Los Angeles where she's to attend a week of events standing in for Zay Zay. This gets complicated however when Zay Zay's contractually obligated boyfriend discovers Red isn't the real Zay Zay.
The concept of a regular girl switching places with a wealthier person is nothing new but it's always fun. And what really carried this story is what Dana L Davis always does so well and that's the banter between characters. Red and her love interest Koi have an easy chemistry that carried throughout the book. And Red is a genuinely sweet girl who puts her family and their best interest first all the time.
It was awkward seeing the mentions of visiting Israel and filming a movie in Israel as if it's some beautiful vacation destination. Especially since this book was written during the past few years when we've seen Israel constantly in the news. That was a choice! That was one of the things towards the end of the book that took me out of the story.
The ending also just felt very Disney Channel and while predictable had little build up to it. The conflict tied up rather neatly with little push back. I feel like there could've still been a happy ending without it being almost fairytaleesque and out of character.
This is a sweet story about finding yourself after a lifetime of taking care of other people.
The characters were very “over the top” at the beginning, and Red seemed to change her personality completely about 25% through when she calmed down a bit. There were also details that weren’t mentioned after they were introduced, and I saw a lot of inconstancies between Red acting as Zay that other characters should have noticed.
That aside, the store was very cute. The plot was pretty linear with little tension, and you could mostly anticipate what was going to happen, but that’s what’s part of what makes this book a relaxing read. If you’re looking for a short, sweet read, this is the book for you!
Thank you to NetGalley for proving an eARC in exchange for an honest review!
Firstly, let me get my singular - yep, I really had one major issue with this book! - issue with this book out of the way. It is the year 2023, there really is no reason why we need two references to a certain children's book series. Seeing these references of the page, especially when I was otherwise ADORING this book was like a stab in the gut and stopped me in my tracks.
Now that the negative is out of the way, let me talk about the positive and, let me just say, this book had so much positive going for it. It was sweet, it was funny, it was addictive, it was magical. It was just chef's kiss. This book beautiful combined a story akin to The Prince and the Pauper with the fake dating trope and the resultant story was an absolute joy to read.
I will admit that I found the Brooklish translations a little much when we initially met the character of Zay-Zay but there were not something that continued throughout the story and I fully understand why they were included to really paint a picture of the character.
Once I started reading this book, I was so hooked that I was compelled to sit in a single spot and read the whole book in one sitting. Whilst there were clear places that the story seemed to be going it, it never felt as though those destinations were telegraphed in a heavy-handed way. I also found that there were a lot of surprises in the narratives because ultimately, whilst this story asks the reader to suspend their disbelief around some of the events, the characters behaved in a way that is to be expected from real human beings.
There were many emotional points in the story which brought tears to my eyes; some of those years were happy, some were for utterly heartbreaking moments.
I am not completely sure what age demographic this book is intended for however I would likely categorize it as NA because of the way the characters felt on the page and some of the story beats but this book contains zero smut, the spiciest thing anyone does is kiss. I mention the lack of spice not out of disappointment but rather to set expectations as I understand that labelled something as NA implies a certain degree of spiciness.
This book was the third title that I have read from Davis and it has firmly solidified that she is one of my favourite authors. I look forward to seeing what she writes next as I feel certain it will be a delight to read.
Red Morgan bears a striking resemblance to pop sensation Zay-Zay Waters. When Zay-Zays enlists Red's help to double as her while Zay is on a retreat, Red reluctantly agrees only because it will help save the family farm. As the plan begins to fall apart, will Red be able to keep up her part of the bargain?
This was a really cute, sweet read with surprising depth. Zay-Zay comes across a very spoiled, entitled celebrity while Red is your everyday girl next door. There is some definite suspension of belief involved, but it makes for a good story. The budding romance that develops is really very sweet and appropriate for middle school and up. Would definitely recommend for teen readers who want a romance.
This was an amazing book. The story was well written and I felt all the emotions. I laughed, I cried and I wanted to fight one of the characters lol. I’m so glad Dana shared this story. Red Morgan is one of my favorite characters. Read the book. You won’t regret it!!!!!
Thank you Netgalley and Skyscape for the ARC in return for an honest review.
This was a sweet read.
Red Morgan: 18 year old daughter of farmers who can sing but can't "sang" (belt out the words) ... she bears an uncanny resemblance to someone who can...
Zay Zay Waters: 19 year old pop sensation who can "sang", but wants a break from reality for a week.
And so begins our story - Zay Zay hires Red to replace her for a week. The goal is to stand-in and make people believe that it is Zay Zay standing on the red carpet. All told from Red's perspective, we are thrown into a week of fake-dating, pretend, and a bit of reflection about what Red wants out of life.
I agree with another reviewer who wrote that this book started off a little "over the top" - Red, her siblings - even meeting Zay Zay was a little "much" (so over the top that I worried I wouldn't be able to get past it) -but about 25% into the story things settled and we got a more mature Red.
I think the target audience is a little younger than I am - lots of talking to the universe to see what your place is in this world/ what you want to get out, and get back from life. But overall, a solid message, told in a sweet way.
The fake-romance was adorable, and overall I enjoyed myself. I'm giving this 3.5 stars - a solid, entertaining read (quick, light and fun).

wow wow wow. oh my goodness. there are so many good things to say about this story! it was the perfect light refreshing summer read and i just loved the characters, the setting, and the twisty plot! taylor thompson lee was a favorite of mine, and koi will be winning many best book boyfriend awards in the future. my favorite thing about this book by far is Red. she doesn’t have the whininess that most ya protagonists unfortunately possess, and she has an insanely relatable case of eldest daughter syndrome. i love her. thank you to netgalley for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Mary – ☆☆☆☆ Red Morgan has the chance of a lifetime when a mishap on the family farm lands her in the crosshairs of pop star Zay-Zay Waters. Red is a dead-ringer of Zay-Zay, and Zay wants her to pretend to be her while she spends a week at a retreat. With what Zay is offering Red, she can help save the farm, but will she lose herself in the process?
I enjoyed this story for the most part. I wanted to head slap Zay-Zay at times but then again, she is a pop star, and she can pay for what she wants. It is a good story, and I was rooting for Red to win in the end. I hope you give it a try and enjoy it too.

I’ve previously read Somebody I Used to Know and Tiffany Sly Lives Here Now by Dana L. Davis and absolutely loved both. When I saw Fake Famous for request on NetGalley, I just knew I had to read it!
I absolutely loved Red! She is definitely one of my favorite characters written by this author and her relationship with Koi was too cute!
All-in-all, I throughly enjoyed the novel and can’t wait to see what’s next!
Thank you to NetGalley and Skyscape for the digital review copy.
A wonderful book with an engaging plot, vivid characters, and enjoyable writing.
I loved seeing Red and her big character arc. Going from a sacrificial daughter to a girl who lives for herself. The side characters aka her family and then Aish and Randy were so well written. I loved the diversity of characters as well. And let’s not forget Koi, he is the person you can’t help but love. Zay Zay is quite a complex character herself. It's complicated. Cause one second you like her, the next you can't help but hate her and then you empathize and it's just messy but wonderful. Even though the book’s plot in itself is something sort of a cliche, it always seems to hit the spot and this book did that beautifully.
This is a book about finding oneself and sticking to the ones that matter. It’s a message to all that you should live fiercely and not give up on things just because of your circumstances or situation.
(also idk why but the one thing i found an issue with was the subtle digs toward the asian pop industry? idk why but the way they were depicted did not sit right with me. maybe it’s something i misinterpreted but that’s how it sounded to me)
This book is 100% me. Something I need when my pain is high; I don't want to concentrate, and I want to be entertained. It reminds me of when DComs were good back in the day. I could totally see FAKE FAMOUS being a DCom.
This book won't be for everyone. If you grew up watching DComs repeatedly, it's for you. If you love the cheesy books and movies where two different people switch lives, it's for you. It's not the next Great American Novel, but I think the author knew this because it's written with heart and a lot of fun, and that is what you have to go in expecting. Hence, I said this is the perfect book for me to read when I'm not feeling well to make me feel better.
This book was sweet and refreshing - it felt like it could go dark with a lost sister vibe (at first) but it was just an honest and modern Cinderella story, with a girl from the farm.
It was so lovely that so many characters were POC.
I really disliked the writing style and overuse of italics. Although the characters were okay, I didn’t love them or feel super connected to what happens to them.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Fake Famous provides an enjoyable and light read. Although it took some time to become fully invested in the story, the book serves as a form of escapism, offering a glimpse into the world of fame and the challenges that come with it. If you’re looking for a quick and entertaining novel with a strong focus on family, this book may be worth considering.
If the trading places element of Fake Famous sounds familiar, that’s because it is — think The Prince and the Pauper or The Princess Switch. But it’s far from a copycat. Fake Famous is a fast-moving read that holds its own.
At the center of the story is Red, a talented teen who has given everything to the family farm. In fact, her devotion is the only reason she even agrees to switch places — the influx of cash could change everything.
It’s immediately clear the Zay-Zay’s life is nothing like Red’s and that the glitz and glamour isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be.
Author Dana L. Davis is great at setting a scene — her book plays out like a movie. Even the characters seem to fit — the star, the lookalike, the friendly, but poorly treated sidekicks, the love interest, even a pet dog — they’re all there. And the book is better for it.
Red is a down-to earth girl whose been taught right and wrong and cares about other people. Zay-zay is honestly a jerk. There’s some reasoning behind her behavior, but she’s honestly not that likeable and feels fairly one-note. The supporting cast is better fleshed out and overall, more compelling.
Fake Famous is a popcorn romp that I read in one day. It’s a great way to escape for an afternoon.
If you are looking to cozy up to a fun and lighthearted read, then Fake Famous by Dana L. Davis might be a book to pick up. While I don’t typically read within this genre, I could appreciate this book for what it was, a fun tale of switching places that gave off a very hallmark movie vibe in the best way possible.
The book follows the main character, Red, and her journey as she switches places with pop star sensation Zay-Zay Waters, going from a farm girl to music sensation, quite literally overnight. All the characters were enjoyable to read. Red was quirky, fun, and extremely loyal to her family. Aside from her, all the other characters shined in their own way as well. While the dialogue felt a bit corny at times, the romance between Red and her love interest was very cute and wholesome, which I found very refreshing. I also like that the romance took a back seat and the book focused primarily on Red’s own growth as a character, which I really appreciate. I will almost definitely be getting a hard copy of this book when it comes out. Thank You to NetGalley and Skyscape for an ARC book in exchange for an honest review.
A cute “grass isn’t always greener on the other side”.
Red lives, eats and breathes farm life. Shes the oldest and natural wants to help everyone and takes on many roles in the family. Shes hoping the universe brings some excitement to her life and a way to help out her family.
Zay Zay Waters is young rich and famous but is looking for an escape from the all the eyes constantly watching her. She wants to find herself again.
Fast forward to Red taking Zay Zays place while she escapes to the literal jungle, or so we thought…
This book Fake Famous by Dana L. Davis starts off about a 19 year old girl named Red Morgan living in a small town in Iowa. Red Morgan was a young farmer who loved helping out with her family and her family's farm. She was the oldest of many siblings and had a close relationship with them. She has an uncanny resemblance to a big star named Zay Zay Waters. I found this book in the school library and I thought it would be interesting to read.
Red Morgan was fresh out of high school and lived with her family helping her parents out who had five other children. One day her sister uploaded a video of Red singing as a joke but it then took off and people really thought it was Zay Zay. Zay Zay Waters sees this video and flies out from LA to Red’s family farm and gives her an opportunity. She tells Red that if Red can stand in for her for a weak sense they look so similar that she’ll give her family enough money to save their family farm since it was struggling. Red accepts this offer and flies to LA. After she begins living this famous life but things begin to turn and they aren’t what Red was expecting. She soon realizes she is going to have to choose between fame or her family. Her family also begins to miss her and Red being away is straining their relationship.
In the end of the book Red Morgan makes a final decision on who she wants to be. She realizes that this is not about the fame and how it’s glorified and instead she realizes it's about the authenticity of acting and the talent in the industry. She decides to not to continue with the overwhelming fame because it made her feel empty when she wasn’t using her real talent. Instead she chooses her real talent and authenticity while also keeping her connections with her family and friends in the long run, she finds out that's more important in life than superficial things. Overall my favorite part in this book is when Red Morgan decides to step away from impersonating Zay Zay Waters. That’s my favorite part because I think it made the biggest impact on the story and brought the whole thing together nicely.
My personal opinion on this book is that it was pretty good, it was not my favorite book. It had an overall good lesson included. I think this book could be very influential to people who see the glorified versions of fame and get caught up in it. This book would be good for the people who don’t realize fame affects everyone differently in their life. Fame isn’t for everyone and people should try and stick with their talents in life instead of trying to be like other people they see.

This is a captivating addition to the young adult genre, leaving us questioning whether we'd choose fame or the quiet beauty of our roots. I know what my answer is… what’s yours? This is the perfect fish-out-of-water tale that celebrates young love.
In Fake Famous by Dana L. Davis, readers are introduced to the story of an 18-year-old Black farm girl thrust into the spotlight after being mistaken for a global pop star. Set on an Iowa farm, this breezy novel explores the pitfalls of fame and the choices we make when opportunity knocks.
Meet Red Morgan. She has signature red curls, a remarkable singing voice, and is the backbone of her family. The eldest daughter of Iowa farmers, she accepts her role without question. Then a TikTok video of her singing goes viral, and social media users believe she's none other than a Brooklyn-born pop sensation.
Meet Zay-Zay. She has a tempting business proposition. Red can serve as her paid stand-in for a week, attending all contractual obligations, experience the glamour of Hollywood, and the money will help pay off her family's debts. Dates with Zay-Zay’s famous Hawaiian boyfriend are just a bonus.
What seemed like a straightforward arrangement soon becomes a tangled web of secrets, unexpected emotions, and self-discovery. Davis skillfully portrays inner struggle as Red grapples with fame, family loyalty, and her own identity.
This story is a delightful blend of heartwarming moments, witty dialogue, and genuine characters. Whether you're a fan of contemporary romance or simply enjoy stories about unexpected fame, this novel delivers. Davis crafted a relatable narrative that resonated with this reader.
This story reminded me that sometimes the most extraordinary adventures begin when we step out of our comfort zones. Like what I did when I moved in with my dad, in the middle of an unknown world, and then met my husband. With an engaging prose and relatable characters, Davis invites readers to explore fame, love, and the choices that shape our lives.

Thank you so much to Skyscape and Net Galley for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review!
This was such a cute, romantic read! It took me a little while to get fully invested in the story, but once we hit the 90 page mark and the romance started to set in, I was hooked!
In this story we follow Red, a recent high school graduate who is fully dedicated to working on her family’s farm, which happens to be facing financial challenges. Although she loves singing, she very clearly sees her future as a farmer and nothing else.
Red manages to catch the attention of global pop superstar Zay-Zay Waters, and it turns out they look remarkably alike. Zay proposes that Red pretends to be her for a week in exchange for the money her family needs. From there, this book takes off into a really fun and engaging story. It is compelling to see Red as a “fish out of water,” exploring a completely different life from her own. Accompanied by many enjoyable supporting characters, Red’s journey is sure to keep you engaged!
Where this book really takes off is the romance, which absolutely sold the book for me. Red and the love interest have amazing chemistry, and the love interest is so charming. As for romance tropes, this best falls into the fake dating category, so fans of that trope may really enjoy this book.
Fake Famous is an amazing Young Adult Romance that I would highly recommend for fans of the genre!
Major/Reoccurring Content Warnings: Pet loss; poor treatment of an animal; blackmail
Minor Content Warnings: descriptions of killing animals for food; descriptions of challenges for kids in the foster care system; child mistreatment
This is a really cute YA contemporary romance that is a quick and easy read. It's the quintessential regular person/famous person doppelganger switch story. Red just graduated high school in Iowa. She lives on a farm with her large family and intends to attend college and come back and run the family farm. Zay Zay is a young global pop star that is uber famous and seemingly has a charmed life. When Red is taped singing and pretending to be Zay Zay, the video goes viral, and Zay Zay's plan to sneak away from her life for a week is hatched. Red only needs to fly to LA, attend a few red carpets, and a date with Zay's hot famous fake boyfriend. What could possibly go wrong?
This sweet book has a wonderful message about being true to yourself that will resonate with younger readers. In the beginning Red is very self-sacrificing and hasn't considered what else she may to do with her life, including being a performer. It's sweet to see her come more into herself and future. The book is a bit angsty, but I'll forgive that because it is YA after all. You also need to suspend belief for the story to work, but you have to do that all the time for books. It takes about 20-25% of the book before all the gimmicks even out, but then it settles into a sweet coming of age story. Despite dealing with some of the more cynical sides of fame, the book is very wholesome. I was able to read the book in one sitting and was a wonderful way to spend a few hours.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley and Skyscape. All opinions are my own.
"Fake Famous" truly had me captivated; it was practically glued to my hands! The story unfurls around Red, a modest farm-girl whose life takes an electrifying turn when a viral TikTok video tosses her into the limelight. People mistake her for none other than the famous singer Zay Zay herself! I was on the edge of my seat as I dove into this rollercoaster of unexpected events.
Red's resemblance to Zay Zay sets the stage for an exhilarating twist – a proposal from Zay Zay to be her stand-in for the week.
The book beautifully delves into the complexities of fame, identity, and the glittering world of glamour. The writing style is a true gem, drawing me in from the very first line. Watching Red evolve from an everyday girl into a near-celebrity was a journey that left me eagerly flipping pages. The novel's exploration of fame's highs and lows left me pondering long after I put the book down.
But what truly added a special flavor was the potential romance between Red and Koi, Zay Zay's faux fiancé. Their dynamic lent humor and an unexpected depth to the narrative, making me root for them as they navigated their unconventional connection.
Without a doubt, I wholeheartedly recommend "Fake Famous" to anyone in search of a page-turner that packs a punch. It's a story that pulls you in and refuses to let go. The themes explored, the character dynamics, and the engaging writing style make this book a must-read. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
I received this book as an ARC from Skyscape through NetGalley and this review is based on my own opinion.
Red Morgan is young girl with her signature red curls and is devoted to her parents farm but she loves to sing.
Zay-Zay has it all, talent, fame and a famous, hot boyfriend but it's everything she doesn't want.
So when a video of Red singing in the mud goes viral, Zay-Zay has a plan and Red is the key. With a lot of money on the line Red agrees to step into Zays shoes for a week but can she really pull it off?
When I first read the description I expected to like the book but I didn't think I would love it as much as I did. To me it felt like some sort of modern Cinderella story and I liked the perspective. I am just speechless after this, it was such a pleasure reading it even tho for a moment the author had me thinking that Red wouldn't have a happy ending. But gosh the ending almost made me cry it was just everything Red deserved, they way all the characters stood up for her and 'chose' her side was heartwarming and I really would have liked to read about Diamond and Randy in the epilogue.
Red and Zay Zay do not have similar lives. For all intents and purposes their paths were never likely to cross.
Zay Zay is a very famous singer. Red also is a talented singer but not professionally. She actually works on her family’s farm. One day Red’s sister makes a silly video of her and posts it online and that leads Zay Zay to her.
Zay Zay asks Red, begs Red, to pretend to be her. She offers a lot of monetary incentive. Red could really use that money to help the family farm.
She agrees to the plan and the NDA she must sign but it gets harder and harder to keep the secret and she’s afraid of getting found out.
I thought this was a cute story but Red had a few quirks that got a bit irritating since they were repeated a few times. Several times Red said things outloud that she thought she was just thinking. I don’t really understand how she kept doing this.
Maybe that little caveat of mine was already fixed in the finished copy, or maybe this is something that would only stand out to me. It’s a cute story either way. I also loved the potential love interest Koi and also the hair dresser Randy.
I got to read an early ebook edition on NetGalley. Thank you!
You can't help but like Red, right from the moment she falls off the fence into a pile of fresh cow manure and starts singing with an attitude. When the video her sister made and posted goes viral, leaving many viewers thinking it's singer Zay-Zay Waters, it's the beginning of a very interesting ride, both literally and figuratively. Red's family farm is struggling, so when she's approached by Zay-Zay's representatives to act as the singer while Zay-Zay supposedly goes on a rainforest retreat with a shaman, she balks until she's offered enough money to save the farm. Zay-Zay is the classic spoiled star, selfish, immature, and self-centered, The contract she makes Red sign is restrictive and makes it almost impossible for Red to comply, given her warm and caring way of being. She does her best, but when she starts interacting with Koi, Zay-Zay's 'fake' boyfriend, things go off the rails. Reading how that happens makes for a very delightful escape for the reader. This is a funny and feel-good story.
I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads, so here is my review. Red Morgan has the chance of a lifetime when a mishap on the family farm lands her in the crosshairs of pop star Zay-Zay Waters. Red is a dead ringer of Zay-Zay and Zay wants her to pretend to be her while she spends a week at a retreat. With what Zay is offering Red, she can help save the farm but will she lose herself in the process? I enjoyed this story for the most part, I wanted to head slap Zay-Zay at times but then again she is a pop star and she can pay for what she wants. It is a good story and was rooting for Red to win in the end. I hope you give it a try and enjoy it too.
Red Morgan is a recent high school graduate who loves helping out on her family’s farm. She knows she’s destined to run the farm after she goes to college. When a video of Red singing goes viral, everyone thinks she’s pop star Zay-Zay Waters. Red looks so much like the singer that Zay-Zay goes to the farm and asks her to impersonate her for a week while she goes to a private retreat in Brazil. Red’s family’s farm really needs the money she’ll receive, so she agrees to do it. However, when the planned appearances take an unexpected turn, Red’s true identity could be revealed.
This was such a fun story. Red got to live the dream as a celebrity for a few days, but not everything was easy. I really liked the characters in the story. Some were quite eccentric and entertaining characters, who made the story fun. The ending was so great too!
Fake Famous is a fun story!
