Rate this book
No one takes Krissi seriously when she begins talking about receiving mysterious messages—all written by her own hand…all without her direction. Becka Williams knows something is not right—that all the odd communications and the cryptic warnings carry one message—someone, something, beyond this world is coming for a visit. I liked that this story allowed Krissi to shine, even if it wasn't in a good situation. She's a very good character, but this is the first time she really stands out.

The story however is mostly told through Philip's point of view, and try as I might I just can't see Philip as the intellectual of the group. He comes off as more of a jock than a braniac.

Other than that, this is another incredible adventure!

A Quickie Review

Things continue to get crazy for Becka Williams, her family, and her friends. The intensity and supernatural drama that have been prevalent throughout this series so far go even further. Scary stuff, but gripping nonetheless.

Content Concerns: Spiritual warfare is the topic, and it is depicted in rather lurid detail; if that would creep you or your kid out, you/he/she probably shouldn't read this.

ok, couldn't tell you if this was real or not. SEEMS like it was more sci-fi than anything, BUT ...

then again, as naive as i've always been, and as much as i'm TRYING not to get any more cynical ...

once more, good read for a christian youth

The entire Forbidden Door series, beginning with The Encounter, by Bill Myers, is excellent for juvenile Christian readers. Various spiritual/supernatural scenarios are addressed in this series which can empower young believers.
