An inspiring memoir of Hendrik's adventure

In “ Always On The Run”, the author, Jan Hendrik shares his adventure story. He begins his journey in Bad Berleburg, Germany, intending to travel through the entire Balkans and Eastern Europe on his motorcycle for two months but due to Covid and the war in Ukraine, his plans are not set in stone, but he was determined to have an adventure regardless. And for the next six and half weeks that’s exactly what he did.

He went on a motorcycle tour through at least seven countries, including: Croatia, Serbia ,Romania, Ukraine, Poland, Austria, Germany and many more. His vivid descriptions of his encounters with different cultures and historical landmarks were so authentic and detailed that I could smell the aromas of the places he visited and feel the warmth of the people he met. His courage and spontaneity in facing the challenges of solo travel inspired me to pursue my own adventures.
One of the most poignant moments in the book was his visit to Vukovar, a town heavily affected by the Yugoslav war, where he captured the raw emotions of the locals and the devastating aftermath of the war. His reflections on the cultural differences he encountered in Ukraine and his interactions with the people he met offered a valuable lesson about embracing diversity.

Hendrik's encounters with women on the road were particularly insightful, shedding light on the unpredictability of finding love while traveling and the impact of cultural differences. His honest and vulnerable writing style made me feel like I was reading the pages of his personal journal.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I was completely absorbed in every chapter, so much so that I could not put it down until I had finished it. "Always on the Run" is a must-read for anyone who has a passion for adventure and a desire to explore the world. It's a well-written and engaging book that will take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Jan Hendrik's story touched my heart and reminded me to embrace my nomadic spirit and live life to the fullest.

Highly Recommend!

Jan's conquests...gets very dull very quickly as every girl he's trying to bang, paid or not, is "maybe the one".
