Flight 19 is a reminder that even in a training environment compounding human errors may cause military operations to quickly go south. What was supposed to be a routine training mission resulted in 27 men gone forever. The impact was hard on the families, especially since WWII had just ended and everyone was supposed to be home safe. Some parents and families dealt with the grief better than others.

What starts off as a respective tale between young navy pilots, quickly becomes a battle between those left behind.
