My whole life has been sheltered. I have no friends, I’ve never had a cell phone, and my life consists of cooking to pass the time. I have only ever kissed one boy and to say that didn’t end well would be the understatement of the century. Luckily, my sister convinced our brother to let me go with her for an extended visit when she marries the West Coast’s Bratva boss. I get a little taste of freedom and make my first friends.
When the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on floats down the aisle, I know my life has changed forever. I know it is bad for me to get close to her. I know it is a mistake. There is no way I will ever get to call my sweet Ángel mine but looking isn’t touching. Being friends isn’t crossing lines… right?
