I swear, Amanda and Joseph don't ever miss with these annual installments. Another beautiful round of writing (and editing).

CAKETRAIN is a literary journal of current innovative writing. It's elegantly designed and intelligently edited, an gathering of the expressive tribe. If you're going to buy one journal this year, make it CAKETRAIN. Yes, she said, yes!

This issue is loaded with exactly the sorts of stories I love. Darkly entertaining and just plainly well crafted. The editors deserve tremendous praise for realizing their vision into existence so wonderfully.

Of all the journals I've read this year, this was definitely the bizarrest. And mostly this was a good thing.
