This is one of those books that I actually read/used when I was growing up. It was a way to help me remember my states and capitals as well as the Presidents and multiplication facts(although that part seemed to confuse me). It is part picture book and part memorization (i.e. the memorizing of the pictures). It made my learning the Presidents and states a lot of fun!

I plan on using this with my kids as a sort of suppliment. I've found that my kids, thus far, have not had to learn the states/capitals or Presidents. So, we are going to study those for 'fun'. I think this book can bring the 'fun' into learning these instead of rote memorization.

This book is now out of print (which really is a shame). If you can get your hands on it...it really is worth a look.
