Trigger Warning: Physical abuse depicted.
I loved it! It was so enticing that I couldn’t put it down, this book grabbed my interest from the very first page. I had to know what happened next. The story is well written with a very good storyline. This a slow burn story filled with friends to lovers, a love triangle, forbidden romance, and fated mates. A story that twists the vampire mythos into a tale of forbidden love, hidden powers, and dark secrets. With a strong heroine called Rose Allen, who defies societal norms. It has compelling love interests, and a deeply immersive supernatural school setting. It's an electrifying journey you don't want to miss. Welcome to Red Rose Academy. Meh
I'm invested in the story... Kinda so I'm trying hard to see it through but the editing was almost non-existant. Repeat sentences in the same paragraph, lots of grammatical errors, there was one part where Rose is told something and the next page, she asks what the letter says, which was a repeat of what a messenger just said and she was shocked, little things like that just made this so hard to read. There's also her close friends who she wasn't even really friends with before she came to red rose and now they're all invested in helping her with nothing that actually tied them together in any way... Just lots of little inconsistencies.

Each book in this series is phenomenal
I love the characters & of course who doesn't love a good college/school action adventure love story. All of this is good but ... Why oh why is Rose so insistent on keeping the notes from "the master" a secret? Doing so makes everything harder on everyone and just makes her wrong on so many levels. She always wanted to be treated like she mattered and with care & affection yet when she has it, she returns it with lies on top of lies? Again I wonder why?

wow wow wow
These books keep getting better. I just love Rose and Valentin. This book was full of excitement and exhilaration. The demons are winning at this point but I have faith that hopefully the tales will turn.

It’s a great story. It keeps you turning pages, but the timeline doesn’t work if you have read Ebony’s story. The follow the same timing. Ebony was in New Orleans for Christmas and it was the first Christmas after starting the academy, so Airy should’ve been locked up

Loved every minute

The series only lost one star because I would have liked for the FMC to become more self assured of herself but I’m still loving the series.
