This. This beautiful beast of a finale was everything I hoped for and more. First, I want to say that I am SO glad that I waited so long to dive into this trilogy because the ending of book two had me reeling. So you better believe that I powered into this one as soon as I could. The character growth, the relationship development and the last thirty percent of this book have left me speechless. The crescendo of emotions that over 1000 pages, of four lifetimes, of four threads entangled, hit a frenzied pitch for the last quarter of this book. Everything that I had been waiting for, I was given. I could not have put down this book if I tried, and believe me, I really had to try because I was reading this on my lunch break at work. When I wasn't reading it, I was thinking about it, ruminating over certain aspects of the story and how they would turn out. And while I had one of the reveals pegged from the second that it happened, it didn't take away from the swell of emotions that thrashed around my chest like a swarm of bats on crack. The anticipation of what was to come had me glued to my kindle and nothing, not even my young nephews bursting through the doors and running through the house leaving a tornado's mess in their wake, could get me to put it down.

I've been giving a friend of mine a run down on the story, like the cliff notes version, and she is wondering, when's the movie coming out?
This trilogy is honestly my highlight of the year, reading wise, so far. It's going to be sticking with me for a long while yet, and I'll be recommending it to anyone who will listen to me. Even if they don't listen to me, I'm going to be telling them about it. I'll buy copies to lob at people in the street if I have to. If you haven't started this trilogy yet, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

This series from beginning to end has taken me on a roller coaster of emotions and the finale is no exception to this!

We pick up right where the 2nd book leaves off and if I thought that the plot twists and depravity had hit their high point in that story, boy oh boy was I pleasantly surprised the further I got in this story because the first two books in this series were child's play compared to this one in the best way possible!

What I immensely loved about this final installment in the series was how much Odi grew into her own. Odi was always a strong female character from the beginning-possibly the strongest female character that I have ever read, but there were some really well developed and placed moments of growth and strength in this story that solidified that thought for me. Backed up against the wall, she took the challenges that were thrown at her with grace and ran with them, even during moments where she wasn't entirely sure that she should be going through with what she was doing. I loved seeing her in her element, taking on the world and getting revenge for the wrongs that were committed against her. It was also really fun to see all of the secrets that have been teased about her place in this puzzle and her identity finally come to light- they were certainly not what I was expecting but when revealed, made a lot of other parts of their collective story make sense.

The surprise of this story was the taming of Axel Abbott. Never in my wildest dreams would I believe I would ever read a softer Axel, especially since he was portrayed as this cold, domineering figure from the beginning- someone who is 100% confident in himself and the plans that he has put in place to ensure his place in his empire with the people he wants by his side- even if that confidence comes off as cockiness more often than not. It was really nice to see a massive character development from him and add in the thawing of Zie towards Odi and their fractured relationship and this was the best story for their collective relationship and I for one was so happy to see it. It may not be a harem in the sense that we got to see much of them all together worshiping Odi, but I think that was what made this story so unique. There was no need to really put that portion of their relationship in display. Their relationship was always so much more than that and with all of the RH books that are out on the market at the moment, it was refreshing to see a different take on it. I for one can't wait to see what comes next with the Gods and Saint and Lou and all of their teased at relationships. Fingers crossed we get glimpses at these 4 in the next set of stories because I am not ready to let them go yet!

Hunting graves ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
My guilty pleasure series has come to an end! I will say I wish I read the other two closer to this one cause I forgot shit but slowly remembered. Overall this shit was so good ahah. I was entertained the entire time. I had so much fun with these books. There are for sure a lot of plot points that are not gone into enough and that makes me sad. Also this book was mainly centered around axel and peony which I get but also bothered me. I’m glad I got more background into him but I wanted more on Zie and Kaiden too. Having 3 kids before 19 is crazy ahaha. Like I mentioned there was way more I needed to happen with these characters. Conversations that needed to be had. I NEEDED EXCESSIVE GROVELING THAT I INDEED DID NOT GET. And I needed more on Zie and Kaiden. I needed more reactions to Peonies abuse and I needed just more. Also the guys in charges deaths were way too easy as well as the royalty plot was fucking weird as shit since we barely talked about that ahah. BUT I DID LOVE THESE. I love these characters love for each other. And the smut was good as hell and this was very fulfilling and I like the other characters this introduced and this world. Very happy about this. I needed honestly like 200 more pages and just really deep dives into these characters and especially with the other guys. I feel like this author mainly did a disservice to Zie but I am happy I read this series. Like I said it’s my guilty pleasure and progressively got better and I will always think of it regardless of the fact that there were many issues but it’s fine I love it ahah and I’m so sad it’s done. Oh also the smut slayed in this one. I wanted some more creativity there but honestly I was very impressed.somehow she even made me like axel! Not fully but I was into him ahah. Also we just skipped over axel getting sexually assaulted so quick and we really skipped over a lot of Odis healing and story and the other boys and the cutting etc and just really going into the history of their lives and the hunting grounds but it’s fine ahha

Epic Ending!
I mean we get there in the end for Peony and her men but boy oh boy is it an emotional ride! And nothing is clear cut, simple or easy for these guys 🙈
They have a heck of a lot to work through, there are some huge betrayals by members of the trinity ones that rock Odi to her core and from which there may be no way back 😮as you should know with this series it is dark (plenty of TWs) and morally grey men but ultimately it’s all for their girl 🥰 knowing that and the undeniable connection they share Odile realised the love she has for them 😍 what’s more is she really comes into her own in this one as a Queen in her own right ready to rule alongside the Trinity 😆
She is out for revenge for everything that has ever been done to her and I love how she achieve this on her own despite the circumstances🙈
The extra scenes and epilogues are a great addition as really show the growth of these characters- it’s the HEA they all deserve 😃

I don’t want to give anything away in this review so I am going to make it short and sweet. This book is very dark! Odile embraces every ounce of darkness she has in this book and it is beautiful! There were heart stopping moments where I had to walk away, gather myself, and come back to this book. The way the author was able to rip at my heart strings and keep my mind spinning was the best. Everything was wrapped up well by the end. I also enjoyed the side characters look forward for hopefully reading books on them in the future!

The series as a whole is a 100 % recommendation if you like dark why choose and have checked the trigger warnings. I have a feeling that this entire series will be in my head for a long time to come!

**I so want to give this book and the series in general way more than 5 stars. It was that good!!***

Hunting Graves is the final book and my word did everything go into it. There was plenty of blood, sex and tears before we got the ending I'd hoped for. Odi (Odile) does get hauled through the wringer throughout this book but I loved that she emerged much stronger with a fierce determination for revenge and bloody hell did she get it. I did do a silent cheer when she got some payback which was richly deserved I thought. A brilliant ending to one hell of a series.

This series was unbelievable. This is Book 3 in The Holy Trinity Series and did not disappoint. It’s all about revenge and redemption. You have action, twists and turns continue and finally all secrets are revealed.

This was a wild ride, and I felt such a wide range of emotions. The author scared me of how I thought the ending was going to be but in true Holy Trinity fashion, we had another twist.

Odile is one of my favorite FMCs. This girl has been through so much. She is snarky, tough, territorial and can be just as v10lent as her men. Kai (Spirit) and Zie (Son) are fantastic with Odile, and you never doubt their feelings for her.

Book 3 also gives you more insight into Axel. The Father of The Holy Trinity and alphahole and manipulator extraordinaire. His character shows the most growth. While you won't agree with how he protects Odile and what he puts her through, his love for her is true. I still want to kick him in the pants, but the depth of his feelings is not in doubt.

There are so many side characters that drew my interest. Side characters, in my opinion, can make or break a good story. The side characters added more twists and turns without overwhelming the story. I do hope there is a story for Lou and Saint. I still haven’t forgiven Lia, but I know there is more to her than what we saw in this series.

This was an amazing series. This is a dark romance so please be aware of any triggers you may have. These characters are morally gray. Their past shapes who they are and what they do. They are all survivors.

I will say my TBR has grown again as I am now adding more stories by this author.

I very much enjoyed this story. It was a wild ride all the way through. That being said, though, I have to say that this book was my least favorite of all three. Some things just didn't seem to add up for me.

Editing-wise, I did come across a badly worded sentence again, possibly using an incorrect word. I didn't focus on it enough to determine if that is the case. I just moved on.

Story-wise, though, there were some issues that I had. In book 1, she mentioned that she was allergic to birth control, and she was very much questioning whether it was real. But then, after that first time with Kaiden, she just decided to go along with it and didn't bother to care? That just seems really careless. If she cared at all, she would have pushed more.

There just felt like too many disjointed things in this book. The author keeps the reader in the dark, but when we are clued in on things, it just feels awkward rather than some big reveal.
Not to mention, the little flashback scenes at the end of each chapter didn't really fit in this book. All of them went over stuff that we already knew and it wasn't anything new. Plus, they were all about Axel, rather than anyone else. They just felt superfluous and were not needed. Or, there should have been some from the others, as well.

Overall, I did enjoy the story, and I would recommend it to others. I would definitely warn that this is certainly a dark read, though. Many books I have read state they are dark, when they aren't, but this one definitely fit into my level of dark.

This is such a great finale to this trilogy and a great conclusion to Odi's story. This book takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions. From start to finish, it is emotional highs and lows. It manages to be both heartbreaking and uplifting.

I loved how, similarly to the other books, we get flashbacks of all the things that led up to the Hunting Games, this time from Axel's POV. You really get the backstory of his character and start understanding why he is the way he is. I would say those chapters are the second most heartbreaking things in this book, second only to that massive plot twist at the wedding reception.
Speaking of that plot-twist, without giving spoilers, I was screaming WTF at this book. I didn't want to believe it was real. Especially with that "this is not a love story" mantra repeating, it was a devastating scene. Even having an idea of why and what was coming, it still rips your heart out in the moment. I did love the "retracted scenes" for easing some of that hurt. 😉😂😍
I also loved that the guys let Odi be the one to exact her revenge on those who wronged her. She needed those moments to truly start to heal, and allowing her to stand on her own and do it was the only way that could happen.
If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would. This whole series sucked me in, and was a great read from start to finish. Please check the CW/TW list though, as this series is very dark and twisted.

3.5(?) stars to this book, probably 4 stars to the trilogy as a whole.

I have some confusion as to why anyone would write a trilogy and introduce characters throughout it (characters with their own little side stories) who are introduced with their own stories left unresolved at the end of the book. In this case, it is because there are spin-off books to this trilogy.

Spin offs are fine, but a character can be introduced in a series without taking the focus off the main plot and then leaving the reader without closure on their own little arc at the end of the trilogy.

Here are some examples:
* What was the significance of the teacher? Where is the teacher's baby?
* How did the Gods go from enemy to ally, when they were on the revenge list from the very beginning?
* Lou and Saint - Just that whole thing between them, introduced, shut down and unresolved. Saint: 'I'd die for you again, Lou.' WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN? You'll have to go read their book to find out.
* Hector and the woman he's into, (the hotel owner) - What's the story there?

Just so many loose ends. I did quite enjoy the story regardless, but I can't rate the book higher on enjoyment factor with so many plot points that could only be explored if you go and read a number of other books.

Am I missing something? WAS this a trilogy, or was it a series?

This book… the final book in The Holy Trinity Series is f*cking phenomenal!! I’m still reeling at this whole story, but this final book really puts you through the wringer!!! Warning this will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions!

You continue in Odile’s journey and pick up right where book two dropped off! And I don’t want to spoil anything but a huge bomb dropped at the end of book two and it continues to book 3, pending the “results”.😮‍💨 I didn’t see that coming and I swear Axel doesn’t handle things with Odile well at all! 😅
Kaiden is my favorite! I loved this character so much and he was fun and still fiercely protective! Even when another huge bomb dropped and I was once again rendered speechless!
Zie, boy, did he just luck out in a way, he was spared from some really twisted things and in result becoming Odi’s lifeline! I loved their group dynamic and I loved that they were able to get through the rough side of things!

However, this is not love story as Crystal reminded me as I was nearing the end and was shell shocked! Yelling WTF at my kindle!

This is without a doubt my new favorite series!!

This series must be read in order and please check content warnings because this is a very dark and can possibly be triggering to people! But for those that thrive on this, this is a must read series!

So many questions!?

OK so I do love these books, like SO much. Such a good story. When it was working it was fkin awesome. The characters where so well written that they sucked you in and made you love them. I do feel like my baby Zie didn't get enough story. I think that's personal preference though. Lou was such a good friend to Odi, which I loved! I do also love that Odi wasn't described as being weak. She has countless trauma but she manages to keep herself strong and focused.

🚨*SPOILERS AHEAD STOP READING*🚨

Yet I still do not understand what the Hunting Game was about? Like, if this was something that happens over and over, for what benefit? I kind of get why Abbot SNR was invested and wanted power from title. Before Odiels game though, like what benefit was winning? Also what benefit was the Doe to the winner? A plaything? Abbot SNR and the other fathers being involved in the abuse didn't make much sense if they knew who she was, could have made her marry any of the boys. Also the teacher thing? Like who was she? What was that all about? Who did Abbot SNR think she was? Why didn't Zie suffer what Kaiden and Axel did? The question was brought up but never answered... I have lots of questions!

good, but could have been better edited for continuity

I waited to rate until I read all the books so I knew where it ended and how it wrapped up.

Overall, the present timeline was well written and flowed. I was super irritated with the guys at multiple points and wanted to scream or cray with her so great job!

The one pain point throughout the whole series for me was the going back in time story. It would jump timelines, it would cause confusion as it what we were seeing from the past didn’t flow for the present.

I don’t believe it would have all been good to have at the front of the story, but the initial meetings of the kids, and the final moment before they were separated would have been better to have a first and then other chunks with “___ years ago” or “age ___” would have made the series flow better. There were so many times where I was guessing where in the time line we were at or why we have these random 1 page chapters from one person who was unhappy years ago and then a chapter in the present from someone else. While the past told the story, I would have rather the past story been either more as a prequel book or more in a timeline distributed throughout.

This trilogy has got to be my favorite, I wish I had the ability to forget this series and re-read it!! The way that Crystal North finished off these books, she took care of every loose end, every single detail that I stayed questioning from the first book. So many plot twists, so much bad that these characters faced. She made me fall in love with Odile and with each boy, then made me hurt when they were hurting. The amount of factors and people in this trilogy made me feel like I was apart of the story. I started reading the first book in May of 2023 and read it in a weeks time, then right away bought and started reading the second book and was a couple chapters to finishing and had to wait to buy the final book of the series until it came out February 13,2024. As soon as the 3rd book was published I re-read the first 2 books to be ready for the 3rd. Thank you Crystal North so much for writing so passionately and giving us an amazing story!! If you decide to read this series make sure you read the tags, they are amazing books but they can be a little intense to some readers. But if you decide to read them... Happy Reading!! ;)

Wow , Wow , Wow. What a ride that was.
This book was action-packed filled with so many twists , turns and revaluations.
I have been waiting for Odi to finally get the life and justice she deserves and in this book it happens.
I can't believe it's the end of this incredible series.
It has been a brilliant ride that as me desperately wanting more from this world.
A certain bestie needs her story telling and I hope we get it.
This book / series is dark please read the trigger warnings.
Like the other books my heart broke for Odi.
It honestly gave my emotions a workout. I was angry , laughing , crying , swooning and wanting to throw my kindle.
The guys are all morally grey , some might even say black but even Axel , Kaiden and Zie deserve all the love. Phenomenal five star book and series that I would definitely recommend if you like your why choose romance on the dark side.

Hunting graves is the third and final book in The Holy Trinity Series. It is a Dark, Why Choose Romance that ends with a guaranteed HEA. There are some Trigger Warnings for this book, so please be aware of, and heed, those warnings.

This has been quite an awesome series, and this book is an amazing conclusion. I love Odi and how strong of a FMC that she is. I love that Odi finally gets her retribution, and how she gets it, it made me very happy to see. She has definitely been through the wringer in life and absolutely deserves her very own, HEA! Oh, and I loved the guys too, lol, can’t forget them!

The writing, flow, and pace of this story is terrific, as is the storyline, characters, storytelling, character development, relationship development, and world building. If you love a great, dark romance with lots of action and steam, then I’d highly recommend this series!

Crystal wasn't lying, this is not a love story. This is a what the fuck did I just read, why am I crying and yelling and why are my panties damp all at the same time, story.

Hunting Graves is the 3rd and final book in The Holy Trinity trilogy. This is a dark why choose. Make sure to check the trigger warning.

I don't even have emotions anymore, this one took em all out of me and I am now just an empty shell forever on the hunt for my own Axel.

This trilogy has had me in a chokehold (not the kinky kind, unfortunately) since book 1 and I do not regret it. I am going to stay vague, cuz if I had to experience all the twists, turns and epic WTF moments, then so do you. You're welcome.

Crystal North, you are amazing and I love everything your mind comes up with! I will always one click anything you write for eternity!!! 😘😘😘

Just fair warning when you read this book, you will be yelling at your device. You will talk to the characters as if they are real people. You will go WTF multiple times. You will want to throat punch Axel. A lot. I'm just saying.

If you are completely invested in this series as I am, you'll see everything develops in the twisted way that Crystal North does so well. I have absolutely fallen in love with all the characters. Yes, even Axel. But he really cannot handle his emotions with Odi well. He's not bumbling. He's just fumbling. The push and pull between both of them make the series. It's been so fun to watch them both navigate this new path. But my favorite is Kaiden. The man is soft for our girl Odi.

Love love love this book. So many twists. Truths come to light. Secrets are revealed. I really hope there is more in this world because all of the characters are phenomenal.

Crystal knocks this book out of the park!!
I was on the edge of my seat through the majority of this book. I didn't want to stop reading because I needed know what was coming next!
I experienced a roller-coaster of emotions. So many truths come to light, secrets are revealed and some unexpected twists are thrown our way. So buckle up your in for one heck of a ride!!
Filled with suspense, drama, betrayal, spice and feelings of anger and sadness to hope and love.
Odi, Axel, Zie, and Kaiden , I loved each of them. They all faced darkness and pain in their own ways. Some worse than others. They all fought hard in this book and together they conquered.
I loved it!!
Such a rewarding and perfect conclusion!!

Everything was laid out in this last book. Crystal splayed everything alive. I almost had a heart attack when she did what she did at the end of the book. Made me question how she thought there was a happily ever after. I thought I was going to get screwed with her type of happily ever after. The Book ended on a good note and but I wished there was longer happily ever after. I know her parentage was answered but who exactly was her father? What happened to her mom and how did Odile come to be in the position she is now. There were questions running through my mind when the wedding came and introductions were made. I'm actually looking to see if the lead of Firefly is going to happen. (*hint hint)

Oh my lord what a book!!I don't know how this lady does it, but she has a way of sucking your very soul out of your body with just her word's. Omg was this book phenomenal, and perfect and ended the way it needed to for Odile and the Holy Trinity. This picks up where the cliffhanger left off at and I swear I don't think I blinked probably for the first few chapter's once I started holy smokes talk about an intense af book this was, and those fire flaming scenes were just fan flaming hot.
So many secrets, so many lies waiting for the truth to finally come out, and man I did not see that coming.

I would absolutely recommend this book, but read the triggers, because if you can't handle them then you definitely don't need to read this book it's as simple as that.

Dark and delicious 🖤

What a rollercoaster of emotions, twists and turns we went through finally getting Odile's story and most of all her bloody revenge! Literally! I've never rooted so hard for someone to come full circle and enact their revenge. My only criticism would be I wish she made the guys grovel so much more than they did. She deserved all the grovelling. I know they guys went through their own trauma but Odi was a queen and deserved the world at her feet. Anyway this book was extremely dark so if that's not your thing then don't read it take this as your warning. BUT if you like all things deliciously dark, with extremely morally grey men with red flags, then dive straight into the darkness with this trilogy! I loved the ending to this trilogy 🖤

The final book in the series and hold on for a wild ride. Because it is a crazy one.

The guys weren't ready to hear the abuse and torture that Peony went through when they left all at the hands of their fathers. They thought when they lwft they were keeping her safe. Its all they ever wanted. They have loved this girl since she blasted into their lives. But once they learn the true extent of what they all had to endure they will burn the world down to right those wrongs. They band together and get the revenge they all deserve. In glorious bloody fashion. They were truely all made for each other.

This whole series was absolutely amazing. I loved every second of it. CRYSTAL NORTH you are a true queen of dark why choose books. Keep writing and i will gladly keep reading

This is the last book in the Hunting Series by Crystal and it was a great ending to the story!

It has good speed, some serious smutty times and a whole lot of background information and solved mysteries. Also, a bunch of triggers, as the other two books as well, but still check them before you dive in.

I loved getting the back story from Alex POV and how everything turned out in the end. It is a 4,5 read for me, as I felt some scenes here and there were a little dragged out and some stuff was still a bit confusing, but that could just be me. It does not take away from this dark universe Crytsal created.

What a fantastic ending to an amazing series and I loved every minute.
This book is written with such detail and emotion, it’s full of blood, tears and sweat.
The roller coaster ride this storyline takes you on is utterly beyond words. Absolutely loved the revenge and the glimpses of characters backstories add that extra element.
The twists and turns had me on the edge of my chair and almost dropping my kindle - jaw dropping!
So sad to see the end of this series, it’s definitely been added to by comfort reading list - it honestly has it all.
Can’t wait to see what this author writes next, as I just adore her writing style.

I had no doubt Odie would boss up and take back control of her life. Most shocking...seeing the transformation in Axel. Amazing how such a "little thing" can change a person 🥰 IYKYK

And of course....the bonus scenes 😲

Hunting Graves is a phenomenal ending for a
phenomenal story! Every little thing that there possibly could be, this author has neatly tied up and given us a beautiful ending to a dark, tragic, emotional story and I'm amazed at how she was able to do that. The Trinity and their Peony had such a horrible, traumatic journey and yet they came out stronger and more determined than ever. These characters were so manipulated by the evils in their lives and only strength came from that. This series is an absolute must read and I can't wait to see what's in store next.

This book was amazing!! I absolutely loved the conclusion to Odi’s story and of course it was filled with love, laughter and action. This book had me in a complete chokehold and I couldn’t put it down as I desperately wanted to know what happened next. The love Odi and the guys have for each other is inspiring and despite all that gets in their way they always seem to make their way back to each other. Seeing how they all supported each other and helped Odi get her revenge for everything was fantastic and showed how strong their bond is. I also loved all the bonus chapters and epilogues that wrapped up the story perfectly.

Edge of My Seat Conclusion!

This book had me in all the feels. It was momentous and totally perfect for this series. I laughed, I cried, I yelled out loud and if I could hug these characters I truly would. I loved reading about this world and am so excited that some of the secondary characters will be having their stories told as well because I have also become invested in them and am yeaning for those reads.  I can’t wait!!!

This is a dark why choose read. Please read the trigger warnings. If you are like me and find trigger warnings to be the recipe list to perfect books, then read this series. It’s truly amazing!
