We are so proud of you for reading "The Big Halloween Scare" by Steven Banks! You revealed that confronting your fears and enjoying life with friends can turn a frightening experience into an adventure that is both charming and fun. Do you remember how all in this book joined forces to confront fear? In your own life, can't find a way to Gel all the more? When you are frightened, remain bold and let others help you. Besides, working together always transforms bad situations into better ones.

I'm going through some Halloween children's books that remind me of when I was growing up. This is pretty step-for-step the same as the episode, but the humor's still there and it's (not as but still) spooky to look at.

Read this too, my son. He said 5 stars.

He laughed so much while I was reading this. And he keeps saying the names of the characters. We will be reading more SpongeBob books.

And I will be showing him this episode for sure.

I think a lot of the stars for this book goes to my husband who pulled out a strong Afrikaans accent for the Flying Dutchman that had us all in tears.

I normally don't like SpongeBob but read them to my children because my boys like him. But this one was one of the better ones. Wasn't super hyper. SpongeBob wanted to be scary but no one was afraid of him. But he and his best pal figured out a way for him to be scary and they didn't even realize they were doing it.
