Had to reread this book after watching the new Bob Marley movie. I first read it about 40 years ago. Great history of Jamaica included.

I first read this when it was issued in the late 70s. From the golden age of reggae. Crucial info and heady black and white photos. Yeah mon.

This book was huge for me back in the 90’s. It’s a Bible for understanding early Reggae! Don’t discount it! It’s still quite valid!

This book was written during the seventies, so its more of a "what's happening now in Jamaica" perspective. Best pictures of any reggae bio book. I got it at myopic original print.
