I so wanted to like this book as stalker plots are my catnip but GAWD the fmc’s dialogue is awful.

Strangely Abusive
Let me preface by saying that this just might not be my cup of tea, everyone is different. No shame or judgement towards anyone that enjoyed this book.
This was really creepy to me. The MMC assaults her and he literally says at the end he doesn’t feel sorry and would do it again. The MFC sort of cares but backs out of it after they do it. I’ve read stalker books and stuff but this was just weird. I guess it does for the title. I wasn’t a fan of the writing style either. It just felt like reading one of those Wattpad stories a teenager writes. The characters aren’t very deep aside from the “dark” aspects. Overall, it seems like it was trying to hard to be edgy and severely crossed the line into creepy.

After reading Unholy, I was so excited to see this book followed Mia’s story!! And it was everything I wanted. She’s such a badass character who’s survived so much shit. I loved every second of this story. And just when I thought I knew what was going on, Chelle was like “no you don’t” 🤭

I want to start this off by saying that though this is a standalone, it'd be a good idea to read Unholy before reading this one, as the events of Unholy tie into this book. If you remember Max from Unholy, the book Unhinged is about his sister Mia. Mia was kidnapped when she was four, and her parents are killed. From the age of four, she's trafficked and assaulted in the most horrific ways possible. When she is rescued by Max and Trevor, she's trained in the ways of an assassin. Mia is being stalked, not by one man, but two, one of them being Trevor, and the other being a person from her past that has a vendetta against her and Max. Max decides to retire from the assassin business for the sake of Willow and their children, and that leaves Mia in charge. Soon, we find Mia having feelings for Trevor and she takes a leap of faith. It's revealed that Trevor has some trauma of his own, and it leads to him messing things up with Mia. Mia and Trevor find their way back to each other, and Trevor does what he can to prove to Mia that he's a better man than he showed himself to be. As dark romance lovers know, when things are looking good, danger is usually around the corner. As mentioned before, there's another man stalking Mia, this one being extremely dangerous. Trevor is willing to keep Mia protected, even if it costs him his life. This is a book about two broken people learning to heal together as their love for each other grows. I'm a HUGE stalker romance fan, and this is one of my new favorites. I couldn't put the book down, and when I read the last sentence, I was immediately depressed that it was over. There are some trigger warnings such as SA, Trafficking, and murder, so if these trigger you, I don't recommend reading this one, but if you don't have triggers, pick this book up! I'm telling you, you will NOT regret it!!!!!!

This book is a rollercoaster ride ! The emotions, twists and turns. Got you like aww to wtf, I honestly loved every minute of it.
Mia was kidnapped when she was younger and her parents where killed. From the age of four, she was trafficked and assaulted in the most horrific ways possible. she is rescued by Max and Trevor, then she is trained to be an assassin.
Mia is being stalked, not by one person, but by two, one of them being Trevor,🤣 and the other is a person from her past that has a vendetta against her and Max.
Max decides to retire from the assassin business for the sake of his family and leaves Mia in charge. Sometime through the book we find Mia having feelings for Trevor and she takes a leap of faith!! It's then revealed that Trevor has some trauma of his own, and it leads to him messing things up with Mia!
But Mia and Trevor find their way back to each other, and Trevor does everything in his power to prove to her he's a great man and they deserve to be together. But all hell breaks loose.
A story about two broken people learning to heal, as their love grows for each other. It’s an extremely emotional, dark, real, raw and gritty story, filled with heart wrenching, romantic, suspenseful, passionate, steamy, non stop action, obsession, angst, tragedy. I feel in love with these two and I'm so glad that I read there story I couldn't put it down for a minute I ate it up in one sitting. I can't wait to see what comes next, I wasn't disappointed at all and highly recommend.

Okay the first half of this book I almost DNF’ed bc Trevor was pissing me off. After everything Mia went through the terrible things he said to her “just to make her leave bc he didn’t want to accidentally hurt her” 😐😐 STFUUUU UGH then Mia just FORGIVES HIM and he never even APOLOGIZED or halfway acknowledged to her that what he said was wrong? Yea he felt bad but he just barged in on her lunch date with Willow then took her to a make out spot and fucked her brains out and “bad ass assassin” Mia just forgives him? Naw girl you’re better than that, walk him like a fucking dogggggg!!!!!
Anyways, he redeemed himself 100% the last half of the book. Seeing her almost get taken from him really made him wake tf up and have some respect. The whole twist with the other stalker was wild! I did know something would happen with him when it got brought up the first half of the book, but I didn’t think it would be that!
All in all I enjoyed this book even though Trevor and Mia had me screaming at my kindle the first part of the story. I didn’t read book 1 before this, but I really wish I would’ve especially if it had the backstory of Max saving Mia! I’m excited to read the next book to dive into Hunter’s story.

This book is another amazing and gut wrenching dark romance by Chelle Rose that you will not be able to put down. Mia is Max’s sister and she was taken at 4 and has been tortured & abused in the worst case imaginable. However, Mia is strong and she has gotten her revenge but she’s still missing so much in her life and she’s not sure if she’ll ever get it back. She knows someone is watching/stalking her but she doesn’t know how to catch him. When she has this moment with Trevor after one of their missions together she can’t help but want more with him. She’s never felt this way before but she doesn’t want to pass it up.
Trevor has wanted Mia since their first meeting. She is beautiful, strong, smart, sexy, and dangerous. He loves the psycho/unhinged woman she is and he wants her to let him see all of her. He knows her past but he is going to be her future no matter how much she fights him. He’s not letting her go!

Wow this book was a mess. Triggers aside, I felt like I had no idea what was going on because the author never really explains anything fully. I get this was a second book, but at least give a little more background for someone that hasn’t read other books. I felt like names were just thrown out there like I was supposed to know who they are and why they are important to the story but never really got explanation why. And for all the trauma Mia went through, there didn’t seem to be any triggers for her which I thought was a bit strange. But the whole twin brother and creepy father angle was never really explained just that somehow they are there. Still not sure how they got involved or the mom who he somehow told about Mia but then at another part of the book he says he hasn’t talked to her in a long time. Random house in Florida. The stalking part was meh, and her being up set but then magically being ok with it after a bit of a fight, this whole book was disappointing. I feel like with more background, more attention to details, just more depth this could have been a really great story.

Trevor is a waking red flag but it just so happens red is one of my favorite colors 😈. He has a very filthy mouth, touch her and ☠️ attitude, and is beyond possessive but he is also the absolute best thing for Mia.
Will Mia get to exact revenge on everyone? Do her and Trevor get their HEA? Well, you’ll just have to read it to find out! 😉 This is not your typical Stalker romance but it was one you will never want to put down. You won’t be expecting the twists that will be thrown at you but trust the process! 🖤

Oh my gosh this dark romance was an amazing read from beginning to end. The sexual chemistry between both characters was off the charts and the personalities were awesome and made the book really entertaining. Chelle Rose ia a fantastic author and she has written another perfect book.

What can I say but WTF have I just read !!! Are writers really so desperate to fill books with smut that they forget reality.

All the FMC’s have suffered years of abuse, degradation, rape, physical and emotional abuse: two of them as young as four and yet we are expected to believe that the minute they get saved they are happy to jump into sexual relationships. That they totally accept MMC’s who under the guise of ‘loving them’, treat them no better than their abusers. Who apparently spend their lives killing others who abuse women but it’s ok for them to lock the FMC’s up, tell them they below to them, do the whole ‘this pu**y is mine’ crap and fu*k them like they are just holes to fill.
But as a reader you’re suppose to accept these brutalised women after years of abuse, can think of nothing else but getting fu*cked!
Why have trigger warnings when the writer doesn’t even give her FMC’s the respect to have any triggers after years and years of abuse. Apparently all abused women need to recover is a cock that’s attached to a narcissistic ‘he man’.
Please remember don’t kill the messenger… this is just my view.

I was so excited to receive the ARC for Unhinged and leave my honest review. I read Unholy and loved it. I absolutely loved this one as well.
In this book we get to know Mia she is a bad ass assassin with a traumatic past and a lot of darkness. Trevor has had it bad for Mia since she was rescued. Trevor has a traumatic past and darkness within him to. Their darkness matches each other. The way Trevor is there for Mia is amazing 🤩.
This book had twists, possessiveness, suspense and spice 🙌.

Speechless , on the edge of my seat anticipating what would happen from one second to the next , completely blown away in all the best ways , moments I felt like my heart was being crushed . Those are only a few things I felt from the moment I opened the very first page of Unhinged until the very last . Mia and Trevor both are so beautifully flawed and so beautifully broken yet and up being just so perfect together. Their journey is not easy my any means . It’s extremely emotional, dark , raw and gritty .it’s heart wrenching, romantic, suspenseful, passionate , filled with twists and turns, non stop action , obsession, awesome world building, angst , tragedy, drama , and a hero and heroine your going to end up giving your heart to .

I loved this book so much. I was massively invested in Mia after reading Unholy (and not just for her cool name), because she'd been through so much, and had her world shaken time and time again. Who deserves a happy ever after more than her?
Stalker books are an absolute fave for me, and this had all of my favourite stalker behaviours, and some twists that I truly never saw coming.
It's well plotted, well written, an intense page turner, and the continuity and links with previous characters are awesome. Plus... now I'm super invested in Hunter and want his story.

Oh, where do I begin? If you know me then you know I love a good stalker book. I have pretty much read every book Chelle has put out but this one by far is my favorite. This book grips your attention and doesn't let go till the end. These two are incredible together. Both of these characters struggle with the past and let me tell you you will feel those issues. Grab tissues. Mia is amazing and trust me you will fall in love with her. Shes every girls hero. Trevor was exactly what Mia needed and he was her strength when she wasnt strong enough. These two where a chefs kiss.

Trevor knows his demons and while working on himself helps and loves Mia through her darkest days. Loved the writing style. Darkest book yet of this author’s in my opinion but I loved it. Of course when you have two crazy people the spice will be top tier!!! Loved it, all of it!

Now this is how you write a dark stalker romance. This is book 2 of the Dark Desires series and follows Mia our female main lead and I really enjoyed her character. She has a super dark past and doesn’t think she will ever be happy. Trevor is the best anti hero you can find. He is OBSESSED with Mia and one call changes everything. Trevor is the perfect psycho stalker with all the vibes. This story was intense, spicy, dark. If you could possibly have triggers head the warnings. Buckle up because your in for a satisfying ride.

This book is a rollercoaster journey of emotions and twists and turns. I honestly loved it! This is the second book in the dark desires series and my third book overall by Chelle Rose.
This book will have you feeling angry one minute and sad the next. Mia might be a psycho, but my god isn’t she one of the strongest FMCs around. And Trevor….. poor psychotic Trevor. Yes he’s a psycho, but he would truly bring the bad guys of the world to Mia’s feet for her to kill.
I cannot wait to see how their story continues

holy hotness
I read this beauty in one sitting. It’s been quite a while since Ive gotten hooked to a story I couldn’t put down. Mia and Trevor are now one of my new favorite couples and I can’t get enough. As I was reading I was laughing, gasping, I cried and even blushed more then a few times ;)

I read this beauty in one sitting. It’s been quite a while since Ive gotten hooked to a story I couldn’t put down. Mia and Trevor are now one of my new favorite couples and I can’t get enough. As I was reading I was laughing, gasping, I cried and even blushed more then a few times ;)

The plot twits when it turns out there was another stalker, holy shit! I didn’t see it coming as I was that engrossed in the book!
I am super happy that Mia and Trevor got their happily ever after together after the things they went through separately!

I was very lucky that this author has put her trust in me....again!
I alpha/beta read this (twice) that's how much I adored it. These two are so bloody special I adore them. The love and care that they both share melts my cold heart.
Yes of course things aren't plain sailing but they are both broken by their pasts that all they deserve is all the goodness. Yes there's some wtf and gasp out loud moments but also lots of fiestyness and sassyness from Mia. This girl is amazing!

Wow!!
From the start this book grabs your attention! I couldn't turn the pages fast enough, because I needed answers! There were some crazy twists that I didn't except at all! This book was full of delicious steam, a little humor and so much more!!
I loved Mia and Trevor. Mia is definitely a survivor and a bad*ss. Trevor's devotion and obsession for Mia made me so happy.
Both of them broken down from their past, but together they fit perfectly.

Just when I though that she couldn't get anymore dark and twisted she gives up this! Chelle Rose is a master creator.

Here we have Mia’s story. Mia went through a lot as a child but she now is an survivor who been training as an assassin. She now has two stalkers one of them is Trevor. He is protected and obsessive of her. Now Max has left the business, she in charge. And when she decide to give him an chance, their journey is twisted and dark. But they will still have to deal with her other stalker and can Trevor protect her from him.

Two Beautiful Psychos
So I started this series with Unchained then Undone and now Unhinged (I know out of order) but I actually liked this more know with everything I leaned previously. This book was insane! Especially with the stalker twist. Trevor is definitely unhinged! The spice was sooooo good. Can’t wait to get more of their story. This may be my favorite couple of the series so far.

Perfect carry on to the first book! I love that we still had snippets of Max and Willow and what they were up to.
I love that Mia allowed herself to be vulnerable with Trevor and still he worshipped her for the bad ass assassin she is.
The flow to the story is fantastic to say it has less pages. Reading and experiencing her at Disney World made me fill with emotion. I'm so happy she was allowed that. I can't wait to read the next installment. Well done Chelle you little genius 👏

Holy cow! The heat is scorching!!
The chemistry between Trevor and Mia is off the charts. I love this book! Devoured it!!! I need more! I can't put my finger on why, but Trevor is probably the most "stable" morally Grey male lead out of them all.... maybe it's his devotion to Mia or his job choices or the way he makes amends but this man is a five-star premium book husband.
