The Magic of the TT: Centenary Edition
As the Isle of Man celebrates 100 years of the greatest road race in the world, the TT has come full circle – as the ultimate test of both motorcycle technology and the men who pit their sophisticated machines against the cruelest circuit on earth. During that century, horsepower has soared from a handful, when two-wheelers began racing over The Mountain, to over 200 today. In this fully updated paperback edition, Mac McDiarmid tells the whole story – history, circuits, machines, riders, races and risks, as well as the whole TT experience for armies of road race fans.

A brief, but meticulously researched history of the greatest motorcycle road-race in history. The Isle of Man Tourist Trophy (TT) has been contested since 1907. Contemporary racers hit more than 200 mph as they navigate city streets and country lanes. Extensive appendices make this paperback a keeper.
