Kay Lee Arthur was an American Christian author, Bible teacher, and co-founder of Precept Ministries International. Renowned for her accessible and inductive approach to Bible study, she helped millions engage deeply with Scripture. Arthur began her ministry informally, teaching teenagers in her living room alongside her second husband, Jack Arthur. Their work soon grew into a global outreach, headquartered in Chattanooga, Tennessee, under the name Precept Ministries International. She hosted the daily Bible teaching program Precepts for Life and became a respected voice in evangelical circles. Arthur authored numerous books and was a four-time winner of the ECPA Christian Book Award for titles such as A Marriage Without Regrets and The New Inductive Study Bible. Her ministry was rooted in a personal reawakening to faith in the early 1960s, following a divorce and a return to religious life. She and Jack also served briefly as missionaries in Mexico before founding their ministry. Arthur remained active in public faith-based initiatives into her later years and was known for her firm stances on social issues. She passed away on 2025 leaving behind a lasting legacy in Christian education and publishing.

This is a fantastic study guide to gain meaning and insight into the prophecies in the Book of Daniel. The guide is broken into 13 weeks, with six days of self study and a summary with questions for group study or self-reflection. I very much appreciated how this guide broke down the more confusing passages and provided cross references to other Bible prophecy to better understand what was revealed to Daniel. The biggest strength was all of the historical information provided to show which prophecies have been fulfilled, giving a good overview of the bigger picture. In particular I loved how this guide helped to make all of the different rulers throughout ancient Perisa and ancient Greece understandable without becoming too dense.

I did not go through this guide as intended, but used each week for an in-depth study each night. I'd highly recommend this guide in particular for Daniel 9-12!

We all grew up hearing stories from the first half of the book of Daniel about the lions' den and the fiery furnace, but the second half is largely ignored because of its prophecies, some of which are very difficult to understand.

I appreciated this entry in Kay Arthur’s New Inductive Series because she spends an entire week on each chapter (via daily “bite-size” assignments) so that you cannot conveniently skim over the tough passages. I still don’t have all the answers to interpreting the end times, but I am thankful for the opportunity I had to think more deeply about the important ideas in the book of Daniel.

Excellent study guide for a challenging book! I did this at the same time as I did the Beth Moore study in Daniel! This is very clear, sequential, and great for anyone interested I studying prophesy.

confusion about the dispensation that we are in and the timing of the rapture that may lead to insecurity in the believer.
