I was really disappointed. Psychological ideas, lacking biblical basis.
I chose to read this book, when I was not yet introduced to nouthetical counseling via nouthetic.org, ACBC (biblicalcounseling.com), Lou Priolo (competenttocounsel.org) and others that base their understanding about human needs and duties on God's Word.

Given 3 stars because its probably the best of what is out there for mentoring. Its a great concept to have a newly engaged/married couple meet with a mentoring couple. This book just goes over the basics of roles of mentors and mentees.
