The Difference Between Advising and Defaming: Explanatory Footnotes By Shaykh Saaleh bin Sa’d as-Suhaymee

Rate this book
A classical text on the correct approach adopted by the Salafi when he sees something that alarms him from his brother/sister. Al-Hafith Ibn Rajab (Allah have Mercy on him) quite clearly outlines the differences between advising, which is a religious obligation, and defaming which is a sin. This is then further clarified by one of the senior scholars today, Shaykh Saaleh bin Sa'd as-Suhaymee (Allah Preserve him) where he gives examples and advice to those who wish none other than preserving the correct methodology for themselves and for others.

A wonderful treatise for anyone looking to learn the art of Da’wah and preparing to call people towards the religion of Allāh Subhānahu wa Ta'āla. The principles presented are sound and pragmatic, easy to remember and follow. May Allāh reward the Shaykh and allow us to benefit from this greatly.
