Look for Encouragement
Discover Enjoyment
“Great joy, especially after a sudden
change of circumstances, is apt to be silent, and dwells rather in
the heart than on the tongue.”
Henry Fielding
Motivation comes from a place where words do
not exist. The heart of one chooses to look into the heart of
another and it sees the potential and that gives birth to
motivation. As the motivation springs to life, it pours out onto
others through positive words and positive actions. Motivation
finds its completed form when I am able to share my faith in
another’s potential.
A Proverbs Life is Fruitful --
Just Do It
"Every duty which is bidden to wait returns
with seven fresh duties at its back."
Charles Kingsley
Choose the Useful Things
Choosing better prepares the way for
the life you desire. Cut out one thing from your day that does not
serve to push you closer to your purpose. Make it a process to
continue cutting until the things you are doing are the things you
are called to do. You will find that you have more time to enjoy
life and to complete the tasks you have set before you.
Avoid Idleness while Embracing Quiet
Plan for the Harvest
A Proverbs Life Grows Wisdom --
Block the Negatives
Feed the Positives
Seek Out the Wise
Learn for Yourself
Make Wisdom a Priority
Set a pattern – skip the rest to choose the
best. Make it a goal that for 21 days you will put your wisdom time
at the front of your activities
A life of wisdom starts with the things and people that you make part
of your day and ends with the habits you plant in your heart
A Proverbs Life is Rested --
A rested life has the right focus to be able
to get all the things done that you set out to accomplish in each
day and in life. A good, solid rest always starts with a happy
heart. Finding joy will help you find your rest.
Living a life that overflows with joy does
not come from ignoring reality. Joy comes from the ability to find
the good, the positive or the uplifting in every moment or
situation.
Spend time with the joy Giver. Trustful
expectation gives the comfort of leaning on someone other than
self. Spending time in the presence of the One where leaning is not
only encouraged but necessary is the only way to walk a life of
hope.
A Proverbs Life is Giving --
Master the Art of Listening
Give from a place of joy
and you will always be giving from a place of abundance. Do not
wait until you have everything to begin giving because giving is an
essential component of contentment.
Be in prayer about your talents and where they can be used and when
the doors begin to open then you will know which one to step
through and when to step through.
Practice, patience and creativity can all factor into the
ability to give. Learning to release personal expectations and
desires will also come into play.“Submit to God with a joyful heart. Do the
things that He calls you to do and you will begin to discover that
your heart desires the things that He pours out to bless
you.”
Kathryn Lang
Keep the "I" out of it – the moment your
excuse, explanation or retort uses "I" it is time to adjust your
thinking. What would God want in this situation? What would God do
when faced with this choice?
Have a heart devoted to and focused on God and
the rest will fall into its place.
