This is such a cute short friends to lovers story….I absolutely love the way Luis took care of Ella….He made her feel wanted and loved and it’s what she wanted most from her parents, but never received. Luis also had a strained relationship with his father, but they were able to repair their relationship. This really was a nicely written love story with very little drama….I love it! This is the author’s first book and I’m looking forward to more of her work.

This was sooo freaking cute. Daniella and Luis were the bestest of friends, so the transition was easy and super cute. Ella exudes soo much love. Her heart is just so pure, but don't try her. Luis was sooo sweet. The way he catered to Daniella was beautiful. Ya'll, we need us some of him, cause Luis was 😍🥰. They were perfect together. This was very fitting for Valentine's Day cause the love was loud between the two.
Daniella's parents…trash. Dassit, that's all!
This is the author's debut novel and I'm glad to say well done. Looking forward to reading from her cause I enjoyed her style

Omg! This read gave me ALL the emotions! I absolutely love Ella and Luis together… Luis is the prime example of BDE!!( google it or ask your friends what its mean…) Ella is blueprint for perfect female character.. Love how she is Nail Artist/Nail Tech(Shout Out To Us)!!! The vibe of The Shop was everything! Nevertheless I’m happy for Ella and Luis’ Happy Ending..

Really Sweet Friends to Lovers
So I enjoyed this sweet friends to lover romance between Lu and Ella. I enjoyed the build-up of them both acknowledging feelings were changing between them and just going for it once they agreed to take the next step. The forehead kisses and nose kisses Lu was giving her as a friend pissed me off cause why not me?! Lmao but seriously I loved that they were already in love long before. The drama that takes place in this book for me felt ok but if anything I get it due to the love story being so sweet. Her parents and his ex-assistant are big trash. For a novella, this story makes sense I would read more from this author. I feel like I wanted more which is why I’m giving this a 3.5/4 ⭐️ but again the story was still good!

I was in the mood for a sweet romance and this hit the spot. The sex scenes were 🔥! I dont know how they were just friends for so long without smashing one good time! Lol I loved that Lu was an emotionally intelligent man with Elle and his family. Elle dad was trash and that mom was sorry!

Forever Us was a sweet friends to lovers story that captured my attention and had me in my feelings. I wanted Lu and Ella together in the worst way. I just loved everything about their friendship. Aside from them being friends for 19 years, they were literally everything to each other because of their family dynamics. They were in sync, emotionally, physically, and mentally. However, the things that they dealt with drew them closer together.. I think everyone knew they would eventually cross the line into a relationship- it was just a matter of time. But when they crossed that line they didn’t skip a beat! Lu handled Ella with care and he was so gentle with her. I really didn’t like Ella’s parents, it was like no matter what she did it wasn’t enough. I did like that Lu was able to form a relationship with his family; although I would have liked to see him and his father have a discussion on page.
I thought the author did a good job and provided just enough background on the characters for a novella length story. But she shined a brighter spotlight on their relationship. The story flowed well and the plot was well thought out. I loved the relationship between the characters; I was definitely a believer in their love. When Lu stood up to Ella’s parents, I was like, “yesss- that’s how you do it, Lu!”

Sweet friends to lover's story. I'm still wondering how Lu and Dani were able to keep those feelings under wraps for so long! Their chemistry and energy toward each other was electric! The transition for these two was seamless, but the family issues were in the forefront. Both had strained relationships with their fathers, never seeming to measure up to their expectations! Unfortunately, it took a health scare to repair the relationship between Lu and his dad. But Dani's father is a lost cause! He was trash for telling her that ish at dinner, and withholding love and support her entire life! His loss! However, I loved how Lu worked double time to ensure that Dani saw and felt love, that she was missing from her family! Nice debut! 👍👍

Daniella and Luis have been Best Friends for forever but as they grew up they saw each other in a whole different light.
I need me a Luis because he loved Daniella to end of the earth and would do everything in him to make sure she felt how he felt about her. I'm glad that Luis and his dad created a different relationship and Daniella Parents can go swimming.
This is the authors first novel and I can't wait to see what else she has in store.

This was a cute fast-paced romance. The love between Danielle and Lu was so cute and sweet. I love when both of the MC’s are bosses !! I love me a good childhood friends to lover story so it’s no surprise I enjoyed this read.

Forever us had a lot of potential. I loved the story and where it was headed. The relationship that these parents had with their children was so odd. First Lu...his dad was mad because he went to college got a degree in engineering but add environmental as his minor. So, his dad told him he was a disappointment. Then we have Ella, we find out her dad never wanted her and just did the bare minimum to basically not go to jail, and his wife just fell in line because her husband said so. (I will never understand that) There were certain aspects in the book that was broken up and the timeline was kind of confusing. It jumped really fast and there was nothing to break up the jumps. Then also it started off in a person-to-person narration. Like each person was telling their side and then towards the end it seemed like a 3rd person narration. all in all, the story was still good and different.

This was a quick friends to lovers read. Ella and Lu are best friends and everyone can see their love for each other that lies outside of the friendship realm. The two finally decide to take it there and get into a relationship and their love flourishes. The rest of their life has a lot of drama when it comes to their parents. Neither one has a fully supportive relationship with their parents until health issues occur. Loved these two together. Lu was so sweet and caring towards Ella. I hated Ella’s parents completely. I happy Lu’s parents redeemed themselves because for a minute I didn’t know what to think of them as well. I look forward to reading more from this author in the fut

I love love in a friend-to-lovers story. That type of story always warms my heart, and this one had it inflamed. Ella and Lu had a twenty-year friendship, both with a toxic dad. Ella's dad was mean and nasty in the way he treated her. Lu's dad started hatefully and later had a complete change... But I don't think he ever really hated Luis. I was happy Ella had Lu's family and her siblings to fill her parental void. Her Stepfordtype Mom will regret her decision in a few years when she misses out on something special. I loved this timely love story.

I loved watching Ella & Lu love grow for each other. This was such a cute love story that Kept my attention the entire time. I honestly could not put it down. You would never think this was this authors first release. I look forward to more work from Ms. Harper. Job well done!

Nail tech Daniella and Engineer Alvin Louis have been best friends for 19 years due to their fathers being business partners. Ella has been having stronger feelings for Lu but is afraid it will change the dynamic of their friendship if she acts on those feelings. Lu on the other hand made up his mind that he wants Ella and he is ready to make it happen.

Sweet, beautiful and undiluted presentation of love. The unconditional love between Lu and Ella was compelling and felt real. The love, intimacy and friendship was leaping off the pages. There was balance of give and take, they both fulfilled the needs of each other. I loved that Ella was able to have meaningful relationships with her brother and sister. On top of Lu and his dad’s relationship having a positive turn in the right direction. As for Ella’s parents if you can call them that, just disgusting. Why make the decision to have a child and then treat that child poorly? Anyway, Ella got the love she deserved and Lu got his as well.

In my opinion, this book was quite enjoyable. Ella's parents really got on my nerves, and it was heartbreaking to see her endure what she did with them. The romance between Lu and Ella was incredibly sweet; witnessing their transition from best friends to lovers was a delight. Despite the swift timeline, considering they had known each other for nearly two decades, their romance couldn't have blossomed soon enough. Overall, I found this read thoroughly satisfying.

So sweet
This was a perfect book for me to read right after Valentine's Day because it added some extra sweetness to my pink loving heart. I want a Lulu of my own. He was an absolute dream boat and I love how intentional he was with Ella. I love how loving Ella was as well and I love how she rebuilt her relationship with her siblings. I will definitely be reading more of this author's books.

I enjoyed this friends to lovers trope. Lu and Ella were made for each other. I loved how they just meshed and everyone was like finally once they finally got together lol. Ella’s parents were a mess and her father deserves nothing nice in life. He was the epitome of bitter because of life. I’m glad everyone rallied for her and stood by her side. I would love to see more from this family and the reconnection of the siblings and how their lives are.

Omg this was the perfect friends to lovers story like I was smiling so hard the whole time. My only issue they named the baby quad but also that could just be his nickname since Alfred was a third and the baby would be the fourth to carry the name Lmao who knows anyway I loved this!

Forever Us by Charleigh Harper is about nail technician Daniella James and senior engineer Alvin Louis Richardson. Ella and Lulu have been friends for 19 years, their dads are business partners. Ella and Lu are basically a couple without the sex. This man knows her schedule, he sends her lunch at work because he knows she forgets to eat. Their level of intimacy is 🫢😮💨 🔥🤤 and this is before the sex! Lu and Ella have more than enough chemistry. The will they or won’t they make a move, I felt that! I was completely engaged in this story. I love how they lay it all on the table, the realness of it is appreciated. I love Lu’s consistency, he continues to put Ella first! He’s not one of those guys that get comfortable once they get the girl! He continued to apply pressure. He provides Ella with protection, a safe place and comfort. They both do their part in the relationship. Another thing I like about Lu is reassures and reaffirms Ella. He does what’s necessary to remove her concerns. The improvement in some family dynamics is another positive aspect in this story. I’m usually not a fan of friends to lovers but something about this one hit different! I like that we didn’t see them dating other people in the story and pining over each other. This is one sweet debut, if you’re a fan of the friends to lover trope and accidental pregnancy trope get into this one!! I really enjoyed this novel and I’m looking forward to whatever Charleigh decides to write next!

Great Story!
So I had no idea this was Ms. Harper's debut novel until I read it at the end of the book. You did an AMAZING job!!!! I thoroughly enjoyed this book, from start to finish. Ella and Lu had really beautiful, supportive friendship, so when they decided to make their relationship more, it became that times 100! Their chemistry was off the charts, those scenes...whew! 🔥🥵🫠🤭😜 And their care and concern for each other was just beautiful to read. I kinda want to know more about Ella's parents and what the truth is behind their disdain, but not knowing actually made her story more realistic. Life is messy and you don't always get resolution and reconciliation, sometimes you just have to walk away and find your own peace. Nevertheless, her trash donors didn't take away from the beautiful journey of Ella and Lu. Excellent job, Ms. Harper!👏🏾🙌🏾 I can't wait to see what you give us next.
