A thoughtful read with realistic portrayals of wanting something only to find it’s not what you imagined. I liked how characters seemed more likeable from others’ perspectives—a reminder that we’re sometimes harsher on ourselves than others are. The book also highlights how we see each other through biases and highlight reels, with actions mattering more than thoughts. The ending felt a bit too neatly tied up, though.
I couldn’t get into this at all. I found it overwhelmingly boring. Even the first sex scene was dull as anything. None of the characters have any personality
Story about three couples (one being actually only a guy with different girlfriends) that each face different obstacles in their lives and have to overcome a difficult phase. The problems range from relationship, new baby, career, social life (or lack of it) to lovesickness and shortage of money. Well-written book with likable characters and realistic scenarios.
