First and foremost I am a daughter of God. I am married to my teenage crush. I have 8 great children, and 20 amazing grandchildren. Writing has been a passion since I could hold a pen in my hand. I don't intend to stop until I can no longer hold one.
I hope heaven is everything I hope it will be. I planning on spending eternity honing my craft.

MY TAKE Chelsea has really been through a lot--first with an assault that has left her traumatized, and then the death of her parents which has left her as the primary caregiver to her 18-year-old Downs sister. Dani is a sweetheart but precocious and can be a handful. Financially, Chelsea is strapped for cash.
So when one of the customers at SweetHart's suddenly proposes, it kind of freaks her out while also tempting her. She doesn't take Hyrum's suggestion for a fake marriage seriously at first, but he has an honorable reason (but he's keeping a secret from her), and she's thought he was cute for a while. When her life suddenly gets even more difficult, she accepts. But with conditions.
And she thought her life was complicated before!
A sweet romance with a hunky guy. I love a man who's self-sufficient and not afraid of taking on the challenges that come with being a family. 4 1/2 stars.

Can Hyrum convince her to trust him after all her traumatic experiences? I enjoyed all the characters. This was a quick read for me that had me staying up too late to finish. I received an advanced copy of the book from author Betsy love and these are my thoughts on the book.
I loved this book and couldn't put it down once I started reading it. Hyrum is a wealthy rancher's son and Chelsea is a waitress at a small cafe in Miracle, TX. They have never dated, but Hyrum needs to get married before his Dad dies. When Hyrum and Chelsea were in college, he was the security guard who stopped a guy from assaulting Chelsea. She never knew who saved her because she was too embarrassed to look and ran off. Then shortly after the attack, she dropped out of college when her parents were killed in a car accident and she became the guardian to her younger sister who has Down's Syndrome. Two years later, Hyrum is a regular customer at the cafe and proposes to Chelsea during her shift. She thinks he is kidding so turns him down. The story is Hyrum doing things for her to convince her to marry him. You will have to read the book to find out if he actually wins her love. I highly recommend this book for those who enjoy a clean romance. I received an ARC from Betsy Love, the author, and this is my voluntary and honest review.
After traumatic experiences at college, waitress Chelsea abandons her studies to care for her younger sister, Dani, but struggles to keep her head above water financially. A rancher’s son, Hyrum, experiences a deep feeling of guilt for his father’s accident and vows to grant his last wish that he, Hyrum, gets married, knowing exactly who he wants as his wife! Betsy Love weaves a heart-warming saga of Hyrum’s pursuit of Chelsea in an effort to convince her to marry him. She, while remaining resistant and distrustful of his ulterior motives, nevertheless is unable to resist his kindness for very ong. The author is especially skilled and empathetic in her development of Dani’s character and her description of the behaviour she exhibits. I received a free advance copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.
This is a wonderful story. Hyrum and Chelsea make an adorable couple. He has quite a time convincing her to marry him. A broken water pipe in Chelsea’s apartment helps to hurry thing along. Dani just will steal your heart. The characters are so well described that you really get involved in their lives. I loved reading this. I received a free copy of this book and this is my voluntary, honest review.
I loved this book. I fell in love with characters right away. The sister is adorable and very believable. I am lucky to have married a guy like Hyrum, kind, thoughtful, and gentle. I loved the ending. A great read that I hated to put down. I recommend this book for early teens on uo.
Hyrum feels guilty about his dad's accident. When he is told his dad's dying he promises to get married before he dies. Only problem is he doesn't have a girlfriend and the woman he wants doesn't know how he feels. How is he going to convince her to marry him when they've never dated? She's a waitress struggling to support herself and care for her sister. When her favorite customer proposes to her she doesn't know what to think. What should she do? Marriage with a contract isn't what she dreamed of. I received a free copy via Bookfunnel. Review voluntarily given.
