Needs an update. Written in early 2000s. Talks about manually taking pulse during workout which any smart watch can do now. Overall, I enjoyed the authors passion for learning and developing an efficient system, sections of this book were really helpful for understanding muscle groups and how to properly isolate and stretch.

I really like some of the concepts that he explains the introduction of the book, but it's nothing new (which make sense given the year of the book). I was expecting a different take on the exercises that everyone knows. The workouts itself are no my cup of tea, as I prefer shorter workouts.
