It's a bit dated (written in 1986), and it did not have a lot in it that I haven't heard before, but it had some helpful tips and reminders.

Esperaba mucho más de este libro dejándome llevar del título y la portada. Fue muy básico y no adaptado a la tecnología. Creo que puede ser revisado para una actualización de vanguardia.

This is one of the best books I've read on communicating. It's strong point is helping someone develop the big idea, the main objective point. The rest is good, but I think this central theme (SCORRE method) is worth the price of the book and the time to read it. I think "Communicating for Change" does a better job of thinking through your entire talk, but both books are needed for any and every communicator!

If you were to read just one book on speaking to college students and below, this would be the book. It will equip you with a well balanced arsenal of tools, speaking techniques, and what not to do.

I've been speaking publicly here and there for a while now, but I think this book will help bring things up to an all new level.
