Fact checked political commentary, with a sense of humor. History based editorial comments from a 6 foot blood, pick-up driving liberal from Houston. Mollie conveys the "uniqueness" of The Texas Legislative process. Local and national political figures are not spared. The reader may not always agree with the writer, but may come away with with an appreciation of a different point of view and a realization the " We the people" need to get off the sidelines and rock the vote to preserve the constitution.

I love Molly Ivins but I wasn't sure if her book would be dated - since it was from the 90s. But it turns out it was more topical than ever. It was a great bit of recent political history that shed some light on politics today.
