Another Use For . . .: 101 Common Household Items

Rate this book
Why discard a milk carton when it makes an ideal charcoal lighter? Why buy a special houseplant duster when a paintbrush works perfectly? These are just two of the dozens of ideas in this third edition of Vicki Lansky's popular book of household hints. Now including a 10-page index, this book lists each item alphabetically, followed by five to 10 additional — and often surprising — uses for it. Whimsical line drawings add humor to this clever compendium of sensible suggestions for recycling, reusing, or rethinking common household items.

This book was not written by Heloise, but it has the same sort of hints in it. It's all about how to you can use an item you probably already have around the house to do seveal jobs. A lot of the items listed are not around my house, but I have learned to do several new things with paperclips.

Anyway, I picked this book up really cheap at the Friends of the Library book sale and though it might be useful.
