I have gotten through portions of this Bible and, much like the Henry Morris Study Bible, I find the notes and commentary to be very good and very helpful in that they give great ideas for evangelizing and sharing the Gospel message. Many of his notes come from well known theologians and devout Christians. An excellent resource if you are looking for a new Bible for personal use or for study.

Eye opening, great articles mixed into the Bible. It is not a study bible so much as a Bible with apologist, historical, scientific, evangelism articles sprinkled throughout. After reading, I gave it away and plan on buying one just to have. A wonderful Bible.

I love this evangelism Bible…. It has great quotes and ideas for sharing the hope that we have in Christ. I appreciate all that Ray Comfort has done: preaching, teaching, evangelism and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. Please check out Ray Comfort’s Living Water ministries and his YouTube channel. If you have the opportunity to take is ‘Way of the Master’ evangelism course, it is well worth it. Get your church to sponsor the course… a great investment for your time and finances.

Ray has been literally standing on a box in public (he's rather short) for more than four decades to engage people in conversation and debate about the Bible's contents in order to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If you wish to spread this good news of salvation through Christ alone, THIS is the Bible you need.
On topics from Atheism, Evolution, and Creation Science to step by step tactics to open conversations.
Also, you can learn about other religions and get advice from many well-known evangelists throughout the decades which Ray has included. He also shares his personal testimony, advises you how to do the same, and will even give you advice to overcoming your fear of talking to strangers on the street. If you wish to be prepared "in season and out of season" and are ready to go into "the highways and byways" to call the lost to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, the Evidence Bible is for you.
It comes in a couple of different colors of faux leather (mine is a one-tone brown) as well as a hardcover. They didn't have a Large Print, but the font is a good size. Besides, it's already so heavy with information that to make it even larger would probably keep an old lady like me from being able to carry it around.
Note: my rating of this book is for the enhancements, notes, and commentary by Ray Comfort and NOT the contents of the Bible, which I believe is the only PERFECT book in existence and the literal Word of the living God from cover to cover.

September 21, 2022Five years ago I have developed genuine interest in topic of religion/ Christianity and have embarked into deep studies. One of the reading positions was Comfort's Evidence Bible, that I found very helpful. I am reading non-denominational Bible on the side and Comfort's notes and commentary are quite interesting.
I would highly recommend this read to anyone who wants to go bit deeper into the Bible reading.

Been reading/studying this Bible since 2015. It is an amazing, awesome instrument for the soul! It is truly a double edge sword cutting deep to the marrow.

The notes and quotes are great! I wish it was the real KJV, as the NKJV looses so much, but I guess for the unlearned American market it was a pragmatic choice. Ray has greatly expanded and corrected the 2005 edition's notes (which can still be purchased on the OliveTree Study Bible software). The first thing I should warn you about is that this is not study Bible but rather an apologists/evangelist tool. As such it is absolutely brilliant! Second thing you need to know is the weight, my copy weights 1.456K which is significant when you're street preaching! The earlier edition (Which was a modified KJV) weighed much less. The paper quality is very good and font choice very readable. It even has an index of both the commentary notes and a concise concordance. It is a great tool, and I highly recommend it.
