The humble, funny author lays out the case for the human spine being a generator of power, rather than just a support structure. Much research (by others) is cited, and some implications explored (e.g. if the spine's primary function is not to support, what does that mean for how we ought to lift heavy or light objects?). Fascinating stuff.

When the author's analysis of the models becomes very technical, I just skimmed.

Goodread is selling my book "The spinal engine" ASIN 1427629978 without my permission. Can anyone explains why Goodread is selling someone's property without permission.
