Claire is a team goer
I think you misunderstood the difference between an anthology and collection.
The book was a lot of things some good others not sooo good. Like how the author didn’t think to add timestamps in story’s so no to confuse when they’s events happen in the land&sea universe. It was also annoying how when one story ends the next start on the same page with little space to show separate story has it did confuse me the first three stories been I got over quick I hope they’s problems are rectified the next time the author writes this type of book.

Good storytelling, but needs serious editing
I’m a big fan of military science fiction and the setting for this series stands out. I’m really enjoying ocean based aliens battling humans in our cities. But the writing in this latest book is rough. Not just typos, but atrocious or redundant word choices, confusing phrases, and run on sentences. Needs some serious editing to be considered real literature.

needs to stick to the storyline next time
It was good but next time instead of introducing a lot of new characters you could build on the older characters. Other than that it was a really good book

Good side stories
Side stories. Before, during and after the invasion. Bringing in some known characters and some tense situations. The book is let down by the repetition but other than that it's a great compilation. The last story being the best.

Interesting short stories
So while I was entertained I was also kind of bored a few times but also other times I was interested. This is a collection short stories and it wasn’t what I was really interested in so maybe that is my fault.

A nice anthology a series featuring new characters in the environment after the events of Storm Surge but you can enjoy it without reading the previous trilogy. Good action and highly recommended.
