These two are on the hunt again. Looking for the fire starter as well as working through their new relationship. They both have bumps and bruising along the way.i do like them working to make their life better together even though they are unsure. The action portion keeps me busy as the firebug and her father’s killer are chased but mot yet caught. There are a few surprises that kept me wondering. This is a continuation of the first book in the series so I could recommend reading that first before this one. The narration is nicely done. Carrie Coello and Rowan Knightly do a good job.

We are back with Travis and Alaina in Backdraft book 2 in the Emergency Love Series.
They thought they had caught the arsonist from book 1..but someone has started setting fires again.
Could it be a copy cat or have they got it wrong.?
Travis is firefighter and Alaina is a cop and they are a team investigating the new arsonist together,the difference is they are now dating.
But Travis is feeling unsure about their relationship,he is uncertain if he is over his ex who died in a fire years ago.So he wants to keep their romance a secret from their co-workers,which doesn't bode well with Alaina who doesn't care if her colleagues know about Travis.
Travis starts to push her away a little because he is afraid he will lose her like he lost his ex fiance,but he does love Alaina...Travis did annoy me a bit at first,I suppose I understood were he was coming from with Alaina...But he made me mad with his coldness at times...I still love him though...He is Lucky Alaina was so patient.
One thing is certain is that in the bedroom they make the earth quake,and their passion never loses its spark.
As they get closer to the person who is commiting these fires,which puts them both in danger.There is a jaw dropping moment that could change Travis and Alaina's relationship forever.
I was so shocked I have no idea what Travis and Alaina will do....This story is far from over and I can't wait to listen to book 3.
This audiobook is narrated by Carrie Coello and Rowan Knightly who did such a magnificent performance portraying all the characters in this book...I enjoyed listening to them.
This is a very thrilling,intriguing and steamy story from Lexy Timms and Autumn Gaze and I look forward to listening to more of their stories.

But will they catch him? Surprises from the past, as well as explosive chemistry keep this series moving! I am loving the mix of romance and suspense and cannot wait to hear the final book!
Carrie Coello and Rowan Knightly continue their fabulous narration. These two work really well together keeping the flow good and the characters real. I enjoyed their performance and look forward to more!
