Does is seem God was silent through the horrors of the Holocaust? Was there no one who had an eternal hope to comfort them in the through it? No! God had given His life and still offered the freedom it bought everyone.
This is an amazing collection of testimonies of Jews who came to Christ either during or before the Holocaust. They are short. There are nine stories in 147 pages. Each one, though, is so powerful. Such as the one about the man saved while on the brink of suicide, or the Jew who gave the Gospel to the Gestapo. Not all are as dramatic as those. Many are the trials of families split, poverty, and disappointment, but they are all filled with the victory of lives lived for Christ.
For a group of short biographies, it is very well written. Each is interesting. The author gives enough detail to give a fairly clear picture but is concise enough you don’t get distracted from the main point.
