Kind of fun, but I was hoping for more when it came to calculations with numbers over 100. Using fingermath to do one column at a time didn't seem like much of an innovation to me, but maybe that's because I'm already ok at some calculations with large numbers in my head. It's also possible I didn't practice long enough with multiplication and the end of the book, but I just got disappointed that there wasn't more to it I guess. The idea of a base 10 system using only 5 representational digits was probably the most interesting part to me.

I bought this book for my kids years ago, the only part that stayed with me was counting (and adding and subtracting) with your fingers, but I honestly use it almost daily!! My kids? Probably forgot about it long ago ;-)
