Witzige Dialoge in drei Geschichten verpackt.

It's funny because that Mr Green said Sassafrass, but it didn't work because he didn't spin the box right. And he makes this pie machine and it looks like he's using icing on the glue page. And he hurts finger while he hammers, but then Mrs Green makes a scooter and she is really proud of it. But then she asks Mr Green what he wants as an invention but he doesn't know because he likes toasters and eyeglasses. So he makes a thing that can cut pies and cakes and pineapples and pizza and you can make slices different sizes and it's really funny. So please read this book.

My maiden name is Green. I was an art and language teacher for 40 years and half of those were before I was married. For a long while after I got hitched, my students refused to change my name--they just called my husband Mr. Green instead. That being said, I just HAD to read this book. It was worth the effort because it turned out to be a very cute story about a pair of alligators and all their adventures and inventions. I now plan to read the other books in this series because this one was so clever.

I would have given this a three or a four but my 3.5 year olds insist it's a five, so there you go.

Cute, funny story. The only thing I really disliked was the expression "ladies and gentlemen" but what can ya do.

The Greenes are a fun loving couple--magic tricks, homemade cookies, a pie making machine! Nice alligator couple go about their business with 3 short episodes. Also 3 other books in the series, begins with Meet Mr and Mrs Green. Easy reader.

I must read more of Mr. and Mrs. Green! Similar to George and Martha, the Greens have wonderful little adventures together. Illustrations fill out the stories wonderfully.
