Well researched book about Byron’s travels, trials and tribulations in Greece, or more accurately, what became modern Greece after the fall of the Ottoman Empire.

A good account of Byron's last days in Greece. Great description of the area. Many pictures of Messolonghi and etchings of the people who were there with him.
