Elaine Perry is an American author. Her first novel, Another Present Era, was published in 1990 by Farrar, Straus and Giroux, and was a 1990 Booklist Editors' Choice: Adult Books, Arts & Literature. She also writes poetry and short stories and has taught poetry and fiction at the Oberlin College Creative Writing Program.
