Duane Crowther lays out a system for not just memorizing, but truly learning scriptures. Chapter I contains suggestions for marking & interpreting scripture, as well as a list of tools, including concordances, commentaries, bible atlases and dictionaries. Chapter II goes on to a solid memorization program, complete with planning calendars and explanation of numbering system. Also includes study passage records with which to track your progress. Includes reference & subject index, also features passages from B.H. Roberts and Hugh B. Brown.
I'm reading the 1975 edition, which contains a lot less pages.
Some interesting ideas, and things to keep in mind to make scripture study more effective. I like the help with memorization, but I think this was probably a better approach before the Topical Guide was introduced.
