It's hard to write a review of this book without spoilers. I have loved this series and am sad to see it come to an end, but the end was well done with a hint that there may be a few stories yet to be told.

Ancient history is revealed to explain why technology was so hated by the people of Amrytis, which is in now danger of a star that is about to go super nova. Familiar characters reappear and new ones are introduced. There is humor as parents have to cope with children who are too much like they were at that age. Some broken relationships are healed. Heroes arise and sacrifices are made as the third generation seeks to find their places in the universe. Most of all there is love, and the sense of finding home.
