This was an okay read for me. Although I wanted to love Sal and Grace, there were a few things that just didn’t jive for me…

What the story’s about:
Grace is a culinary student with a passion for cooking and a dream of one day owning her own restaurant. With a craptastic stepmom and her latest creep husband #3 making her home life far from perfect, Grace is desperate to move out and take her younger sister, Rose, with her. To make that happen, Grace needs a job. But not any run of mill job will do. Grace wants to be a chef but no one will hire her because of her young age. Grace applies at the Moreno’s popular Mexican restaurant, hoping they would overlook her age and give her a chance to prove her skills in the kitchen.

Off to a bad start, Grace gets caught in a lie about her age and Sal writes her off. These two start off as oil and water but Grace catches a lucky break when Alex, Sal’s brother offers her a chance to show her worth. Working day in and day out together, Grace and Sal soon realize that first impressions only scratch the surface and there’s always more than meets the eye.

What didn’t work for me:
First off, I didn’t understand why Grace had such an attitude when interviewing with Sal. This guy doesn’t know her from Adam, yet she walks in, giving him attitude and what? He was just supposed to roll over and hand her the job as head chef, on her say so? Her “life time” of experience wasn’t very credible and from a professional standpoint she should have understood that. Why couldn’t she start at the entry level and work her way to the top? Then when she gets caught lying about her age, I didn’t understand why she was so defensive about it. Even her apology sounded insincere and at least to me, it made sense that Sal gave her the boot. She came off as bratty and full of herself, rather than confident, which I think is what the author was going for.

Then there’s all these other going-ons that were left hanging. Like, what was the point of Grace mentioning over and over again how flirty Taylor was? Or the fact that Sal didn’t like how touchy feely the guy was with Grace. I kept expecting them to talk or work through his jealousy over her platonic relationship with Taylor, but nothing ever happens. I was left feeling like Sal would eventually let his jealousy get the better of him. It might not be with Taylor but eventually their pussy footing around Sal’s real feelings and her avoidance of it, would have boiled over and it doesn’t a HEA make. Not for the long haul, anyway. Then there’s Grace’s mom – hated her!- but again there is no resolution. She’s there one minute, causing trouble, and gone the next – another instance of drama for the sake of drama.

I think the major issue I had throughout was the lack of communication and honesty between the MCs. The most glaring example, when Sal decides to keep the whole Vegas situation with OW a secret from Grace. He claims to love Grace but decides to take the coward’s way out by keeping her in the dark about the whole thing. It just made him sound so shady. The scene when he straight up tells the OW to keep this just between them was cringe worthy. And I really hated that Alex actually encourages Sal to lie. I had really liked Alex up until that moment. Using the excuse that he didn’t want to see Grace hurt made me call BS. What respect I had for them both, pretty much took a nose dive after than scene.

Although this had a lot of cons, it did have some pros. I loved the strong family ties and the strong connection between the MCs. Grace and Sal have chemistry but their relationship kept getting derailed by a lot of little things that kept popping up that kept throwing me for a loop and dragging this one down for me.

Would I recommend?
This felt too YA for me . . . too much drama for the sake of drama and a lot filler.

How i have missed reading Elizabeth Reyes romance novels,i am a big fan of her "The Moreno Brothers" and "5th Street" series that i read some years ago.All the Moreno heroes are charismatic, badass and loyal to the core and fiercely possessive when it comes to their women."Making You Mine" is the 5:th book in the Moreno series and follows the oldest Moreno brother Salvador Moreno whose heart gets captured by the hardworking new employee in his resturant Grace Zendejas.Sal was instantly enraptured by her and i love how he hated the way she got under his skin like no one ever had before.I found Grace gayfriends Taylor and Joey extremely funny and it was more hilarious the way Sal thought both were Grace`s boyfriends at the start.I also came to adore Grace sister Rose and her blossoming romance with Sal`s cousin Vincent Moreno and i know they have their story in "Fate" which i am planning to read.Sal`s and Grace love-story was natural, engaging and sweet-just love the way these two went around each other not knowing what to do about their growing feelings.Elizabeth Reyes always knows what readers wants in her romance stories.I also appreaciate the bonus story about another couple i love, Angel Moreno and Sarah.

Making You Mine- Elizabeth Reyes
Book 5: The Moreno Brothers
Sal Moreno is the last single brother in his family. He takes care of the business end of the restaurants and has dreams of honoring his father, grandfather and the Moreno name by opening more Moreno restaurants. He is neat and most folks just say he's anal. When Graciela Zendejas comes in for an interview at Alex's restaurant, it don't take long for Sal to find three strikes against her. And something about her makes him a bit more anal than usual.

Grace had been turned down time and time again in her interviews. She decided to try and look older than her twenty-one years and she added a few extra on her application. She knew she could be a head chef with no problems but all anyone saw was her age. By the time she met with Sal Moreno, she was in a pretty nasty mood. Grace does get the job a few days later no thanks to Sal, Alex hires her. And she proves herself as a bartender and cook.

As Sal and Grace get past their first impressions and head towards starting over, one road block after another trips them up. Sal has to accept her best friends, Joey & Taylor. And the biggest problem is one of Sal's ex's who won't let go. It seems there is no such thing as a smooth sailing relationship when a Moreno is involved. And you will find out that what happens in Vegas does NOT stay in Vegas!

Once again we get to be with our friends from the previous stories and see how their lives are changing. Angel & Sarah now have their own restaurant, Alex & Valerie start their family, Sofia & Eric are engaged, Romero & Izzy...well Romero will always be Romero.
We get to meet a new relative as well. And like all Moreno men, he carries the handsome gene as well.

There is an epilogue that updates what is happening with the families and than there is a separate short story for Angel and Sarah. Can their love survive more tough times and suspicions?

**Sexual situations and language.

I loved Salvador and Grace; they were a really great couple and the plot was interesting and different from the other books, BUT it was a bit too long. It got off to a great start and then I was willing it to move forward. I love descriptive writing in some books, but in this one I wanted more dialogue and interaction between the two main characters. When Salvador and Grace were together it was great, but they spent way too much time apart. Salvador has been the mystery brother in this series, and as he was revealed, I fell in love with him. Although he was initially harsh towards Grace, he made up for it with his sweet charming ways.

All the characters that came before were involved in the story, and we got a nice dose of each of them. The family and friends element works well in this series. A wonderful heartwarming extended epilogue was included, and a sweet short about Angel and Sarah, the couple who started it all. With the introduction of two new characters, Vince and Rose, I feel that another book might be in the works, at least I’m hoping so.

I just want to comment on two more things. The series started out as YA and then took the direction of Adult Contemporary, which was fine. Then this book seemed more YA to me. A little confusing and I expected a bit more heat in this book, since that’s how the last 3 presented themselves. The other issue was the editing. All the other books were fine, but in this one there were some grammatical errors and an incorrect character reference. Hey it happens. Elizabeth Reyes is a talented author and I hope to read more by her in the future.

I wanted to like this book. Heck, after buying it after reading all the great reviews, I was expecting to like this book! Alas, I feel like I am being generous giving it the 3 stars that I am.

This is the first book out the series that I have read, but I have a feeling it might also be my last as well.

It started out pretty good, but then is started fizzling out in the middle. I stuck through it, hoping it will get better towards the end- but it never happened.

The whole book read like an episode out of a bad soap opera.

I did not care for Sal. Yes, he is your typical Alpha hero, but he is unbearable. I got super irritated when he was jealous of his girlfriend's 2 gay best friends, since hey, you never know, "a lot of those guys swing both ways". GAH! seriously? when I read that, I wanted to toss my nook across the room.

Aside from that, this book just read like any other typical contp. romance novel to me.

Boy meets girl
Boy and girl do not like each other and do not get along
Boy and girl realize that they are actually not getting along because they are *GASP* having feelings for one another
girl is an inexperienced virgin, while the boy has been around his share
enter "villain/problem" that tear them apart
a whole lot of angst goes on
boy and girl get back together
The end

Some Spoilers below

I did not care for this book at all. Maybe this was since I read so much, I hope/expect for the books I read to stand out from one another, not blend in. But this was not such a book for me. I do not think I will be reading the others in the series.

"It's over. She wants nothing to do with me anymore." -Sal in Making you Mine

In Making You Mine Sal the oldest Moreno reluctantly hires Grace a young culinary student as a bartender. Well actually Alex hires her after Sal said he gave her 3 strikes.lol! Grace wants nothing more than to be a cook and show her talent but b/cuz she is so young no one is willing to give her chance. She feels defeated after her interview at Moreno's especially when Sal acts like a complete A-hole. When Grace lucks up and gets the job after running in to Alex at Moreno's she knows she must work hard to prove herself.

Slowly Sal let's down his frigid actions toward Grace. And both he and Grace start to experience other feelings for eachother. When the two finally admit to their feelings and start to date everything is going good. That is until Sal goes to a bachelor party in Vegas, wakes up with a hangover and hears the voice of Melissa an ex-fling he has been ducking.

I love Elizabeth Reyes and i will read anything with her name on it! This series is awesome and i really hope to read about Rose and Vincent soon. I loved the ending with all the other POV's and the bonus story with my fave couple Angel and Sarah.

Oh, what a disappointing ride. I liked the first book in the Moreno Brothers series so much and by the end of it, I came to loath all of them. Ugh! I do not find sexist, controlling men attractive at all. The Moreno brothers are appalling, there is nothing romantic about the way the act around their girlfriends.
How would you feel if your boyfriend demanded all of your free time, disliked if you went out with your girlfriends, and outright forbade you from even speaking with any other guy? Well, if you are not a doormat type of person, you would tell him to hit the road, right? The Moreno brothers are all like that, I kid you not, and their girlfriends just accept all their garbage.
Besides this big flaw in the series, the plot in the later books (Romero and Making you Mine) was weak and very much soap opera for my taste. I kind of feel bad now that I recommended this series to a friend of mine.

Summary:
Salvador Moreno is the oldest of Moreno Brother's. He's smart, sexy, and always in control. Then he meets Graciela Zendejas. While looking for a chef's position, Grace thinks Moreno's would be a great place to help boost her career as a chef. The problem is, she's young and no one wants to take her seriously. She lands a job at Moreno's as a bartender. Sal isn't too happy about this, because he can't stop thinking about her. They give in to their attraction and start dating. Then for the first time in his life, Sal messes up big time. As he and Grace get closer to their happily ever after, he has to decide if keeping the secret or coming clean is the best way to save his relationship with Grace.

My Take:
As you all know, I love this series! I was so looking forward to Sal's story. He always seemed so serious in the other books. It was so great to see Sal come undone and find someone to love. His vulnerability was so sweet and he is just plain sexy. He's a strong alpha male without being overwhelmingly domineering. Grace was a sweetheart! She needed someone to love and trust and Sal was the perfect fit for her. You'll just fall in love with Sal during the "camp out" chapter! OH BOY!!!! I loved the epilogue! It made me miss all the brother's and makes me want to reread their stories! There is also a special story about Angel and Sarah at the end too, which made me melt!

Revised: I have a love hate relationship with this book. Many parts I didn't care for and there is nothing worse than major OW drama! And boy, was there life-altering drama. Way too much!

Was it safe? That kind of depends. There is something pretty terrible that happens that the Hero is involved in. Can't go into details or it will ruin it for you if you want to read it. Suffice it to say it works out in the end but it was a very, very long bumpy ride.

I will say this. If I knew the storyline and all the dreadful angst I wouldn't have read it, therefore, I cannot recommend it.

Also, there is such a long time that the reader hears time and time again of his guilt that by the time its at the end it is difficult to shift gears.

Ooooohhhhhhh, i LOVED Sal's story!!! I mean i didn't think it could get any better after Romero, but i was wrong! Sal was like a marshmallow; hard and tough on the outside but oh so gooey and soft on the inside!! What a terrific ending(?) to the series, although, i would love to see a story about Vincent and Rose :) Job well done, Ms. Reyes, can't wait to read your next book!

Making You Mine is my favorite Moreno Brothers novel. I had to find this one before I started all of my reviews, as I have said, I was on momentum. Sal is my favorite character among the brothers – he’s very anal, a level-headed person and very reasonable until he fell in love with Grace. Now, Sal understands what the fuss and the stuffs his brothers were doing when they were in love. Touché!

Grace is someone who wants to prove she can do something, but because of her age and her looks no one takes her seriously. I don’t like that Grace’s character was manipulated by her mother and until the end, she didn’t seem to mind it. There were occasional no’s, but they were somewhat weak, and usually she just lets her mom have her way.

Their romance takes into turn when Alex gave Grace the shot she needed – not the one that she wants but close to it, and open for the possibilities of letting her inside the kitchen. She was basically shoved into Sal’s quiet and organized world. They found themselves in love with each other – and they were in for an amazing ride of their lives.

However, one drunken night at Vegas, Sal made a mistake. A gruesome mistake that can cost him his relationship with Grace. Can the cliché, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas work on him?

Our old friends from the previous books are here, we get to see how they are doing with their lives. Angel & Sarah have a successful branch in the Marina, Alex & Valerie are having a family, Sof & Eric are engaged, Romeo & Izzy are doing fine as well. There’s a newly added Moreno, Vincent – whom I am looking forward to having his very own story in the future (REALLY HOPING).

The Epilogue is phenomenal. It was just wonderful to see how the Moreno couples were doing after a couple of years and see a whole new generation of Moreno’s. Plus a short story about Angel and Sarah’s journey in conceiving their very own baby.

Making You Mine may not have the amazing glow of a young love in Forever Mine, but this is a story for first love as well. Splendidly mixed with lies, betrayal, sacrifice and misunderstanding, Elizabeth Reyes once again made a fantastic story that will melt your hearts.

When I started this book, I read the teaser and proceeded to read the book. The first couple of pages had me thinking this can’t be good and I was sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the bomb to drop while I read this story. Sal is probably my favorite of the Moreno brothers. He is strong intense alpha male, totally in control and his confidence is very sexy. I like that he isn’t a hot head like Alex and Angel. Gracie is my fav female heroine. She has fought long and hard to get where she is now. Sal got off the wrong foot with Grace, he didn’t know how to deal with what he was feeling towards her. My favorite scene: Grace in the restaurant kitchen cooking dinner for her and Sal. She was in her element and exuded confidence and she knew it. Sal just watched her and you could just see him falling hard for her. This was a very emotional read for me. I cried and cursed if not more than the Moreno brothers. I wanted to kill Melissa. I know she had problems but it killed me to watch Grace slowly slip away from everyone and retreat into herself. I was absolutely crushed. Thank goodness we have Romero and his “friends” that can look into places normally unattainable. Again, relationships are hard work and when there is misunderstandings, love, deceptions and lies, it takes faith to lift you above it and see what is real.
The epilogue at the end of the book had me laughing and crying. It was absolutely amazing to see everyone vacation together and to see all the children from the everyone. I was heartbroken for Angel and Sarah. They have gone throw so much and were the first to marry and still without children. You can tell that this vacation on Elephant Butt you bittersweet for them. Elizabeth is truly an amazing writer. We also get a look into what might become of Rose and Vincent.

The bonus called Eight Days was very emotional. I was up and down and hoping everything will be OK for Angel and Sarah. I felt bad for Sarah thinking that because she had Sydney in her life bad things were happening to her. So glad Angel was able to help her thru this by calling Sydney to come and see Sarah. The tears would not stop until little Angel made it to the eighth day.

I have been a fan of the Moreno Brothers series for the duration. Every book as had its unique and thrilling journey of lust and love. Admittedly, I was shocked when I couldn't get into the last book Romero, but now reflecting I think it may have had solely due to my inability to connect with this particular character. Even so, I was desperately hoping that making you mine would restore my love for this series and help me overcome the frustration that I had with the one book. I was thrilled to find that I was captivated from the start of Making You Mine, and found myself so completely engross that I finished this book in one sitting. Sal is a character that every reader has been following, and waiting to see his turn come round. With his quiet and tranquil personality it is exhilarating to see him get his feathers in a ruffle, and step into the lime light for a change. These main characters were breath taking in this book for lack of better words, and I would have to say this book turned out to be by far my absolute favorite of the series. While the other books focus on the growing of a relationship and two lovers coming together; this one seems to offer so much more with the progression of the novel and the baggage that Grace walks into this relationship with. That being said, Grace is far from the typically girl and I was in love with her character from the start. This young girl’s life was a tragedy, and I was rooting for this relationship for not only her happiness but also for her safety. This book offers the growth of a family, as well as, a mouthwatering romance. Never have a seen a better match than Grace and Sal not only in character, but for such an esteemed man to find a woman like Grace as pure as a white rose. This added to the pristine image that Reyes was building, and I think it was an excellent display in talent from this author. After concluding book five have some anticipations on who will be taking center stage in books to come, and I am anxious to see if my assumptions will prove correct. This is an awesome series that just keeps giving us more.

I have only read one other Elizabeth Reyes book, 'Romero', from the same series, and I liked it very much. This book, however, did not do it for me at all. The beginning starts off promising, but about halfway through it just starts to deteriorate and ends up crashing and burning by the end. I almost didn't even bother to finish, and in fact skipped numerous passages to get to the end and see how things wrapped up (solely for a sense of closure; at this point it wasn't interesting).

The characters started off good, but as things progressed Grace just became more and more annoying and we constantly (CONSTANTLY) hear her say she won't allow her mother to do _______ or she'll put her foot down about _______ this time, or whatever it may be, and then she promptly forgets and doesn't stand up for herself at all. She also, oddly, has this propensity to try and get physically violent with another character (she's held back), but considering her lack of confidence and overall wishy-washyness, as well as only a vague reference to childhood teasing, this eagerness to fight doesn't fit with the rest of the character and seems to be just thrown in to try and give her more dimension.

The romance was a little lacklustre to start and while I was hoping it would gain in momentum it just...didn't. Really disappointing.

Overall, the annoying character of Grace added to mild sprinkles of romance caused this to be an overall uninteresting read not worth the time.

Dear Elizabeth Reyes,

I have to tell you that I loved EVERY SINGLE book in this series (which is amazing & rare in & of itself) but I think this might be my favorite of them all. Thank you so much for the epilogue & short story on Angel & Sarah, I loved finding out what was happening with everyone. I admit, I was soooo sad about this being the last Moreno Brothers book so I was EXTREMELY happy (actually squealing) when I read that 'Making You Mine' is not, in fact, the last book in the series!!! I think I totally love you for this!!! :)

As far as this book is concerned... it pretty much kicked ass!! I hate it when I'm looking forward to a particular character's story & when I finally get to read it... I end up hating who they end up with! That is soooo not the case in this book! Grace is sweet, sassy, smart, mature & adorable & her friend's were amazing. I seriously hope that her sister Rose has a book coming out ;).

Anyways, if you've been looking forward to Sal's book, I'm telling you right now, you will not be disappointed. Elizabeth Reyes is the master of writing about realistic characters & I cannot recommend this book or this series (for that matter) enough!!

I enjoyed Sal and Graciela's story. Psycho ex, deranged momma. Drama drama drama. Wasn't my favorite but it was still good. I liked the new characters Frank(I think he had good intentions), Joey and Taylor.

You know we will be getting a story on Rose(Gracies sister) and Vince(Moreno's cousin).

I enjoyed the epilogue and the growing family and Angel and Sarah's short but very sweet story. Babies all around and would love a follow up on all of them.

The book started off very strong and I really like the Moreno family, but the story's main point of conflict just didn't do it for me at the end; it felt a bit too contrived for my taste, but that's just a personal preference thing. All in all, a really nice read.

I love it when I come across the unexpected. I wasn't expecting much when I downloaded Forever Mine July 2011 as a free download for kindle. I never got around to reading it. I know they say not to judge a book by its cover but I did. I didn't really like the cover and only downloaded it because it was free. All I can say in my defense is that I'm an idiot sometimes. Anyway, Earlier this month I was looking for something new to read while I was on the treadmill. I chose Forever Mine and got caught up in the characters of Angel Moreno and Sarah. I loved all the push and pull of the relationship and the strong familial element. When I finished with the first one I had to keep reading about this family. Elizabeth Reyes writes strong characters. The personality and emotions of each of her characters comes leaping off the pages. The characters feel like people the reader would know. She combines romance and everyday life into some fabulous story telling. I am a little sad that I have read through this series so fast. I want more and there just isn't anymore at this time.
The latest installment is Making You Mine which gives us the pairing of the oldest Moreno brother, Sal and bartender/chef Grace. Sal is all business and he makes Grace his business. It is a treat to see this cool and collected business man brought to his knees by unassuming Grace. Elizabeth Reyes' writing is smooth and transitions well throughout. She paces her story telling just right. I must ask for her forgiveness for judging her first book by its cover. I never would have given it a chance but I am so glad that I did. I almost missed out on a fabulous series and that would have sucked for me. I recommend the Moreno series to everyone. I look forward to reading whatever this author puts out there. She has let her writing do the talking and I have listened. Great books, great series.

Somewhere between 2 and 3 stars.

It was a fast reading for me. Probably because some paragraphs I skimmed (especially after 'the big point').

I haven't big complaints about a writing skill and I have some fun reading it. But:

--> It is ridiculous to think that a guy older than four years from a woman is 'too old', even ten or fifteen years aren't too much when we talk about two adult people.

--> Almost all characters were too young considering what they achieved in life.

--> Grace's crying was too... absurd. I mean, she wasn't yet involved and she’d spent nearly a half hour in the restroom, crying like an idiot over this man just because he spoke with some pretty girl. Come on! The heroine doesn't have to be a strong woman but there are boundaries.

Oscar’s a good guy, but he tends to look at women like objects
--> What the Heck? Was he a good guy or not? You can't be a good guy and treats women like a shit! Yeah, you can be 'a loyal bro' and be awful for women but not a good guy. And I would like that a female-writer doesn't repeat such crap. (Yeah, I am a bit angry about it.)

--> Are ridings by a bus such dangerous in the USA? According to this book, I should avoid them at all cost.

--> The hero was only twenty-five years old and he was considered old (he should have had a wife, children etc at this age).

--> I couldn't believe how fast their relationship evolved, it wasn't believable. It wasn't necessary. Elizabeth Reyes could have given them more time.

--> And their breakpoint was (again) unbelievable, even ridiculous and for sure totally predictable. Since then, the plot was simply boring.

Summarizing, despite all those weak points as a free pick it was a good reading. Moreover, I did list those weak points because I see some potential in Elizabeth Reyes. Perhaps someday she will start writing more believable romances - at least I hope so.

By far my favorite of all The Moreno books. Seriously Elizabeth you knocked my socks off with this one!! I couldn't put the book down. I just had to find out what was gonna happen. Especially when the sh!$t hit the fan!! But this is why I love you and Tammarra Webber so freaking much... You believe in EPIC happy endings.

You've never disappointed me. I think its safe to say I am a fan for life.

But back to the actual book...

After reading The Moreno Brothers books 1-3, Salvador wasn't even a blip on my radar. He was always such an elusive part of the family because of school that I never really gave him much thought. Which is also a part of the reason it took me so long to get to this book. BIG mistake. I should've just read every book in the series without thinking twice. I still haven't read Book 4 - Romero's story and I will without a doubt be picking that up soon. Very soon.

Nonetheless, Sal's story by far has been my favorite. His heart-wrenching journey with Gracie & the unbelievably psychotic Melissa was the perfect combination of love, angst, frustration, redemption, forgiveness and a lovely dash of happily-ever-after. She had me swooning from page 1 and then absolutely pissed off around 50% or so. I was so hooked that she had me reading at stop lights, waiting in line at the grocery story and spending more-time-then-necessary in the bathroom just so that I could get to that next chapter. I was addicted.

Even though there were parts where I was like THIS IS NOT HAPPENING!!!! I still loved every moment. She brings you up and then lets you fall just enough that the ride back to the top isn't too daunting. It was romantic-literary-perfection for me and its definitely taking a seat on my shelf of "favorites".

I couldn't wait to read Sal's story cause he has been a bit of a mystery through the other books and I was intrigued by the oldest Moreno brother who comes across all intense, silent and brooding and in total control!! Oh and of course he sounds totally yummy too and he has dimples...it's all about the dimples LOL!!!

Sal is a strong alpha male who plays the protector of his siblings and their partners but almost doesn't believe in love for himself. That is until he meets Gracie when he interviews her for a position in the family restaurant. Gracie is absolutely adorable, I wanted to put her in my pocket, she is so innocent, young but focused and at times naive! She completely unravels Sal and his reactions made me melt!! The chapter with the camp out in his garden.... WOW!!!!!

Sal and Gracie's story is more of a slow build than the other books but once it starts it's a complete emotional roller-coaster ride and I was completely hooked! We had love, deceptions, lies and lots of misunderstandings....

I loved again, how we got to follow the lives of all the Moreno's and their partners as well as Romero and Izzy and ALL the babies LOL!!!

The Epilogue is AMAZING. Seriously, I cried....it was so emotional, not only do we get a glimpse into where everyone is a few years later but we get the totally emotional and heartbreaking Angel & Sarah short story!!!

E. Reyes left me with my heart in a puddle on the floor!!!

As always Elizabeth has blown me away! I couldn't wait to get my hands on this story and let me tell you it was so worth waiting for. Not only do we get Sal's story but like all the other books we get to see what is going on with everyone else in the series that I have fallen love with. And yes just like Elizabeth's warning label on her Facebook page I too have a tendency to fall in love with fictional characters and with hers most DEFINITELY!

What can I say that I haven't said yet about this series. It's intense, it's sexy, it's insanely good!! It has heart racing scenes and breath taking moments. A love story to reminiscence about for a very, very long time. Just like with all the other Moreno brothers Sal's story has the highest of highs that matches the heartbreaking and gut wrenching lowest of lows. This is truly one of the best series I've ever read and I will read anything Elizabeth puts out. Guys, you don't want to miss out on this book or this series so make sure an put it on you TBR pile. I promise you will not regret it!!

Enjoyed mentally watching Sal, the last Moreno brother, fall in love with Grace. This book had more of a serious tone than the previous ones, but it makes sense since Sal is such a serious guy. Although he’s more controlled than this brothers and for the most part keeps his cool he can’t help being a Moreno –an intense, protective, possessive alpha male. Still got a few laughs from Romero. His blunt outburst when seeing pregnant Valerie (“Damn, you’re big”) and his typical “I got this” were great. The real laugh out loud moment was, of course, from Manny recalling a Romero childhood story. The guy’s a hoot. But the icing on this cake was the Epilogue with the Moreno’s and their families (all those babies!) as well as the separate Angel and Sarah story.

Sad that this is the last bk for the Moreno’s, but hoping there are future Moreno stories to tell….like maybe cousin Vincent and Grace’s sister Rose? In any event, I look forward to whatever’s next from Elizabeth Reyes.

Ok I cheated a bit I didnt read this series in order and skipped to Sal's story. The premise caught me. He is definitely worth it, also ot can be spoilerish for the other brothers but I dont mind.

Sal is the meticulous brother, organized, in control and always the professional. So when Grace applies she somehow struck something with him, it doesnt go as smooth. They butt heads initially and there's definite tension. But when they get past that first impression things heat up.

Of course being a the only Moreno left on the market, Sal is definitely a girl magnet, he's a known player. But after getting to know Grace things change. Obviously it wont be perfect, theres the always the drama.

But I really enjoyed Sal and Grace's relationship how it developed and all. I liked the other characters too like thr other brothers and family. I enjoyed this one and Ill definitely read up on the other books by Elizabeth Reyes.

First, I want to say that I have enjoyed this series, for the most part. It's kind of mild compared to a lot of books I read, but maybe that's because it falls squarely into the Young Adult catagory, which isn't necessarily one of my faves.
Making You Mine was a nice story, but it was pretty much the same as all the other books in the Moreno series. Bossy big tough strong (insecure)guy falls in love with pretty girl with low self esteem. For people in their 20s,their relationships all seem so high school. But again, young adult isn't my favorite catagory.
It's a good read, but don't expect anything different than anything that happens in any of the other books. It's pretty much all the same.

I really enjoyed this series. I think Alex' story was my favorite. I haven't read Sofie's or Romero's story yet. I figured what would happen with those anyway.

Sal's story was very sweet and sexy. But boy do I know about crazy ex-girlfriends or FWB. It can be a nightmare and Sal was living one. Poor Grace. So young and so inexperienced. But the heart wants what the heart wants.

I'm curious about the ending because she dangled Rose's and Vincent's breakup, but never really came out and said anything. So I'm expecting another story with these two as the MCs. Have a feeling it will take place well in the future as Vinnie joined the army.

I still have to read the short story of Angel and Sarah. The only two who still haven't gotten pregnant.
