Reece was born in Dillon, SC on January 29, 1969. He spent most of his childhood in Greenville, SC and graduated from James L. Mann High School. After high school, he joined the United States Army and served on active duty for 3 years as a Bomb Disposal Technician. After serving honorably, he was discharged and started school at the University of South Carolina where he received a BS in Chemical Engineering. Immediately following his undergraduate studies, he enrolled at the University of Missouri-Rolla where he graduated with a Masters in Chemical Engineering. He began his professional career in May of 1996 with a leading consumer products company where he spent more than 10 years in Research and Product Development creating and developing products from bench top concepts all the way to manufacturing and market launch. In August of 2006, Reece accepted a new opportunity at a consumer products company in Atlanta, Georgia. As a part of the Innovation Process Engineering department, Reece has managed and led several retail projects. During his time in industry, Reece developed his writing career from his ability to create very robust technical writing reports. He took these writing skills and married them to his strong interest in analyzing and discussing relationships to develop fictional complex erotic short stories. Reece has also taken courses at the Creative Writing Institute at Emory University in Atlanta which led to completing his first book, Corporate Affairs: Codes of Mis-Conduct. Additional interests include working as an adjunct instructor in math and science as well as serving as an active member of the National Society of Black Engineers. Reece is married to his wife of over 13 years and has three boys 17, 12 and 10.
