I had heard portions of this book read on BBN and was interested enough to order it through Inter-library Loan. An enjoyable read and I learned much about the Catherine and William Booth who started the Salvation Army. Very admirable Christians who stood on their beliefs and made an impact internationally which is still strongly felt today. If you are looking for a straight history you might want to find another book but I found this to answer my needs. It is written as a story and is actually classified as Fiction, I guess because the author interjects conversations that could only be assumed. But to me there was so much historical fact.
