A classic by Dick Powell from the mid to late 80s. Some people may find the designs dated..but they're in a way timeless and show the design languages of the late 80s, which are quite beautiful and practical....predating a time when forms could be generated inside the computer. It is also interesting to see all the kinds of markers and art supplies are were available in the 80s but are long out of business (Design Markers, etc.).
All of the techniques of illustration and rendering in this book are applicable to the modern wacom tablet (Cintiq, whatever you have) workflow. Don't let anyone tell you any of these older airbrush or marker rendering books are outdated. Everything is still applicable.
