While this didn't tell me anything I didn't know about Edward VIII, Wallis Simpson, and the whole abdication drama, it was a competently written overview with plenty of pictures and despite the author's obvious bias in favour of his subjects a decent read.

Slanted towards the Duke of Windsor, it relies heavily on previously published information. No great secrets were revealed. Lots of photographs
