This was leagues better than the first two volumes : more story, less sexual undertones. The setting was also gorgeous. Hope the last one keeps this up.

The "The Riege Master" is as good as the first album and maybe a bit better. "Quest for the time bird" is a beautiful epic fantasy series with quality that remains on high levels from issue to issue.

On this one we have Le Tendre implement some deeper investments of devotion and sacrifice by the protagonists, making it more and more a classic when it comes to the fantasy genre norms and releasing it from the "just another outdated fantasy tale" label.

I especially liked the portrait of Riga and the power play between him and Bragon, almost the same as the one between Bragon and Bulrog. A nice mix of mutual respect and acknowledgement without actual mention.

Much better than the first two volumes, less childish, less women as sexual objects, but still too much of it, much better story, too.. still some pretty bad pointers, like characters telling you what they are doing as they are doing it, god if only there were pictures to show us what is happening!... comics are like jokes, if you need to explain it you're doing it wrong.

This is probably the high point of the series for me. The ongoing duel between the Riga and Bragon is is an interesting embellishment to Bragon's character.
