Un secret dans un secret...
Le cadet Darren Lidstrom et son équipe multi-espèces gravissent les échelons de l'Initiative Interstellaire, mais leur réputation publique est entachée d'un secret très sensible : les quatre cadets sont les seuls à avoir réussi à entrer en contact avec la dangereuse entité spatiale appelée "The Wallless". Lorsque des phénomènes dangereux se produisent sur le vaisseau amiral de l'Initiative, même les experts ne peuvent dire s'ils sont dus à un sabotage ou à une capacité - intentionnelle ou non - de l'entité. La tension monte encore d'un cran lorsqu'un avertissement que l'équipe a reçu de l'entité se réalise - et qu'elle montre une vision de la destruction du vaisseau que personne ne sait comment prouver ou, pire, prévenir.
Alors que les soupçons et les accusations fusent dans toutes les directions, et que l'équipage du vaisseau amiral est confronté à un ordre d'urgence d'abandonner le navire, Lidstrom doit décider de la confiance à accorder aux officiers du vaisseau amiral et à ses camarades cadets - d'autant plus que faire le mauvais choix signifiera probablement la mort de l'équipage et de l'Initiative elle-même.

I’m not a fan of books that are written from multiple perspectives. However, I AM a fan of this series, THIS FINE CREW, and this specific book, A RUPTURE IN TIME!
The tale is about an attempt to meld alien individuals (ALIENS, y’all, not funny looking humans from different planets. Think about that for a minute…) into a working, trustworthy crew. How could it not include very different perspectives?!
The author brings to this book a complex, exciting plot along with amazing characters who have fascinating physical, emotional, and thought process differences. I could hardly put it down!

Awesome sci fi adventure
The worldbuilding and characters are fantastic. The non-human points of view are fascinating and well-written. The story is often intense and riveting without a high body count and massive destruction. I don't like time travel books, but Rupture is good enough to overcome my bias.

Like a birth of Star Fleet book
More intrigue, but plenty of alien culture and culture conflicts in this installment. Who can be trusted, who's acting in what interests? Even the members of "this fine crew" are tested, and the limits of the enigmatic being they rescued are pushed. Compelling!

very complex and enjoyable
Complex plot, relatable characters even the other sentient species. Lots going on!! It is really interesting to see it from so many points of view. I still like the first book best. And this is a close second.

Old time sifi story
Very good book to read. Liked the four person narrative. Would recommend reading you need to start with book one to get full story. Looking forward to reading next book.

Great Storyline and characters
I love how each chapter is through the eyes of the character, allows me to focus on their mannerisms and thoughts.
