I believe John Claypool may well have been the greatest parish minister of the 20th century. Claypool’s understanding of humanity and how Christianity helps people to grow through their problems and issues is incredibly perceptive and helpful. This book was a great reminder of the nurturing role that the preacher has as he helps people come to a deeper faith in God.
