Etienne Leroux was an influential Afrikaans author and a key member of the South African Sestigers literary movement. His full name is Stephanus Petrus Daniël le Roux, son of S.P. Le Roux, a South African Minister of Agriculture.

A wonderful, dreamy, surreal, read. Not sure I'd have the patience for it now, but I loved it when I was younger. It's VERY DIFFERENT - not your average read - and it gets five stars for that. Maybe a little Kafka-esque, and that's my sort of book.
