From the author of the wildly successful Wolf Tales series and the DemonSlayers series comes the third short in the serialized Demon Lovers series, following Unbalanced and Unbound.

They are immortal demon hunters who exist in a world apart from Earth. Their job is to protect humanity from demonkind. Addie, Jett, and Locan are ready for the fight. Once demons themselves, Jett and Locan have spent millennia trying to kill each other when they’re not fighting demons—or they were, until Addie came along and added a personal twist to her role as their fulcrum—the one who keeps the guys in balance.

Addie’s convinced them it’s not merely that demon hunters don’t play well together—what Jett and Locan saw as anger and hate is an accumulation of sexual frustration between two gorgeous men who’ve totally misinterpreted their powerful desire for one another. Now, with Addie’s encouragement, Jett and Locan have taken teamwork to an entirely new level of sensual exploration... when they’re not hunting demons.

The team’s latest assignment is Hollywood and a movie about demons still in production. It appears one of the actors just ate the assistant director, but all is not what it seems...

Some people just seem to know they are meant to write, but it can still take a while to figure out exactly what their career will entail. Kate Douglas started out writing radio copy for a country western radio station in 1972, wrote and illustrated an educational cartoon strip for the American Mosquito Control Association for a number of years, was a newspaper reporter for a small town weekly where she covered everything from high school sports to drug busts, and then, in the mid-1980s, decided to write her first romance.

Many submissions and rejections followed.

In 1998, she sold to a small ebook publisher before anyone knew what an ebook was, but it wasn't until 2005, a full twenty years after finishing that first romance, that she signed with a New York publisher.

In January 2006, Kensington Publishing launched their Aphrodisia imprint of erotic romance with Kate's Wolf Tales, a sexy paranormal series about a lost race of shapeshifters. She went on to write 21 novels and novellas in that series, then wrote three other series for Kensington before moving to St. Martin's Press.

She has two series with SMP--The Intimate Relations series complete with three novels and one novella of romantic suspense set in California's wine country, and an erotic paranormal series, Feral Passions, set in California's Trinity Alps.

She is also continuing her Spirit Wild series, the sequel to Wolf Tales, independently.

Kate and her husband of over forty-five years have two adult children and six grandchildren. They live in the small town of Healdsburg, California, in the heart of the beautiful Sonoma County wine country.

ADULT BOOK = ADULT REVIEW

Firstly let me just say that I am a huge Kate Douglas fan she is one of my all time favorite authors. She is absolutely not for the faint of heart. Her books are erotic (most of them), sexy, edgy, but most importantly and the reason I love them so much is the her characters have so much capacity to love and that they are larger than the written world they are created in.

I have heard Kate say that her characters speak to her, tell their stories and monopolize her time. While I have heard authors say that before hers seem to take on a life of their own for me as well.

This series is a playful escape into a sensual world. Locan and Jett are two sexy ex-demons turned demon hunters only kept in balance by Addie their "fulcrum". They are complete opposites in looks and rarely agreed any anything before meeting Addie. I love the idea of this series, I try to maintain balance in my own life and love the Yin & Yang aspect of these short stories. The bold covers with strong contrast immediately caught my eye and the stories down to the last word have kept me excited to see what happens next.

Demon lovers is a fun series and a quick escape into an exotic world where Jett and Locan can discover why they truly fought before Addie. This was a much needed break for me from the past few YA books I have taken on.

If you aren't reading this series and can handle Kate's erotic flair pick it up you will not be disappointed!

I really like reading this series. This was a short quick read. In book 3 the team must figure out how the demons are using a video game. Jett, Addie and Locan are also getting closer in their relationship. Jett and Locan are at a place where they are not fighting the love that they have for each other and Addie is more comfortable with her role and not only the piece maker between the guys but as their lover. This book was well written like the rest of them in this series. I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series.

This third book in a five book series gave us a thrilling little story of Addie and her boys Locan and Jett trying to manage demons. They were sent on a mission to a Hollywood set where a demon, Moloch, had taken over the set and burnt smaller demons from a video game to our side. The little guys were afraid of Moloch and his friend Yush, who had possessed the director of the movie. The little guys possessed humans as well but were basically used to just keep the humans around until Moloch decided he wanted to eat one. Addie, Jett, and Locan, all but dispersed the demons from our world and made new friends in the process. This book had an interesting plot and made you think what if things weren’t as they seemed.

My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 unicorns - I really liked it!!

**Gifted to me through Netgalley request for an honest review

Okay I liked this story more than the first 2 stories and felt much more connected to the characters, but would still rather have a novel but that’s me. This story is also about 50 pages and about the same 3 characters. They are getting closer in their relationship. They had another unusual demon situation to solve in this story. It tied in well into everything that has happened so far. Again, this is a very adult series with erotic ménage and may not suit everyone, but if you like those types of erotic stories and are a Kate Douglas fan, you definitely want to read this. I recommend the boxed set for the best value.

The relationship between Addie Locan & Jett went up a notch in this book. Whilst trying to determine who were demons and who weren't demons and how to get rid of demons possessing innocent humans a special bond was created by them to allow them to figure out who were the bad demons behind the mayhem on the set of a movie under the famous Hollywood sign on the Hollywood Hills. Again the trio were successful in ridding earth of these terrible demons. However at the end they have determined that as the bad demons are all from Video Games they all live another day and can come back to haunt them. Will they come back to haunt them all or can Addie Locan & Jett rid them from nature once and for all. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me access to this book to review.

I read the box set and this review will be based on the series as a whole. I enjoyed the first part of this series and of course the sex scenes were HOT!! The writing was good, but in the middle of this series I would have liked a little more creativity. The fact that video game characters come to life just left me feeling dumb. I didn't enjoy that part. Now, the last book was okay. HOT HOT hell hound was a good twist. Didn't mind that one. I always enjoy a good plot. Execution is always a must and was a little lacking through out the middle part of this boxed series. Almost gave it 2 stars, but it worked out in the end.

I received this ARC from the author via Net Galley. Thank you!!

The wackiness continues, but I just can't stop reading. This installment took place in Hollywood. And they discovered they can connect on a higher level AND solve puzzling crimes while having sex. There was some worry about exposing themselves (har har) while opening up (har har) mentally during sex. But that never amounted to anything.

In this story we see more video game demons that come to this plane and the assistant director of a movie ends up dead. Are all demons bad???....or are some just misunderstood
