In his pioneering work Multiple Man, Adam Crabtree redefines the meaning of "mental health" through his exploration of multiple personality disorder and possession. From the 1980s, this is a book definitely of its time and place-I wonder if it was written as a response to Michelle Remembers? Is this a book that helped what eventually became false memory syndrome? 3 stars isn’t for quality or even my level of enjoyment, but more of how important I think it is as a historical document.
