This book was a copy provided by the NetGalley for an honest review. After being drawn in by the catchy title, sexy cover, and reading the blurb I desperately wanted to like it. It’s a romance, it’s a light, easy read. What’s not to like?

The story is ”No Strings Attached’” meets “Friends with Benefits.” Beautiful troubled girl Brittany Grayson meets sexy, hunky guy with baggage, Alex Crawford. They both have many reasons why they shouldn’t be together.

Brittany is a kidnapping and abuse victim, having survived four months of mental torture, yet her actions are many times at war with this past. She’s a former deputy but I didn’t feel that her vocabulary or actions give much support to her having had this career. A few instances are: she lets Alex go out to check the windows to see if someone came inside her home, she calls her brother (true, he was the town’s sheriff) instead of 9-1-1 when she sees someone outside her kitchen window, and she gives up her gun in response to the kidnapping. This last seems particularly at odds with both her previous career and with her kidnapping. To me, someone that has been a victim–no matter what type of abuse–would likely not give up something that makes them feel in control, or at least gives a feeling of protection. Throughout her journey a masked face appears outside her window, or random creepy messages appear and disappear from her house, but unfortunately fail to create the kind of intensity needed to make me fear for her life.

As a result of the kidnapping, Brittany is described as someone more insightful, more mature, stronger than before. Her behavior–staying in her home, watching TV, or watching Alex, the guy she hired to build a deck behind her house–doesn’t show enough of the change. She also spends too much time networking with strangers on the internet, which seems odd for not only a former deputy, but for a victim of a violent crime.

I felt there was too much time spent on explaining why Brittany and Alex shouldn’t be together rather than giving the reader reasons why they should. I might have been more invested in their relationship if I’d been given more of that.

I applaud Ms. Cassidy’s effort to write this story, for which I give 3 stars because I believe in her and would like to reward her obviously hard work. I look forward to seeing her future efforts as she continues to improve with her writing.

This was a good one day read.

Brittany is a survivor of a 4 month long kidnapping by a serial killer. When she finally decides to strike out on her own after her rescue, she decides to have a deck built on the back of the house. Her carpenter is Alex. A single dad freshly relocated to her neighborhood bringing his daughter to live close to her grandma.

Strange things start to happen to Brittany that are similar to what her dead kidnapper used to do & her family is making her second guess her sanity.

This was a good whodunit. My mom always had a theory of guessing the culprit in tv shows & this one played right into it. Since there were only a couple suspects, it was my first guess. but you can convince yourself it could be any of them, so it wasn't that predictable. Just mostly. LOL!

I did really like it & it was exactly what I was in the mood for at the time. I was also happy to get the epilogue at the end! I wasn't left totally hanging asking for more.

The only thing that was interesting in this book was the kid. Everything else was bland and downright boring.

Brittany was the Grayson sister who went missing in book #1 and her kidnapping was the fundamental matter of the whole series. And being that this was Brittany's book and the finale of the series I would have expected it to be a bit of a cluster-bang-drama.

But sadly the suspense was just so-so, the chemistry between H/h was tolerable and the bad guy was not a bad-ass at all. All in all, very vanilla.

Really good book. I enjoyed the series and seeing the brothers and how their lives were going. Brittany has finally recovered enough to move back to her house and try to get her life back to normal. When she hires Alex to build a deck for her house, she can't believe the immediate attraction she feels. But she knows she isn't ready for a relationship, and neither is Alex. She doesn't feel that she is able to even think about being a wife and mother to his daughter, thanks to the trauma of her captivity. He too feels the attraction and as they spend time together he sees the possibility of something more. When the terror starts all over again for her, Alex is there to help. Then, as she and Emily are taken captive, she finds the ability to resist and begins to heal. The suspense kept me going very well. I did figure out the bad guy, but it was a great ride.

OK, I didn't see that coming! Emily! Emily stole the show and truly rocked!!! Oh, think I would have liked a bit more Brittany and Alex together time... but with the kidnapping and all, I can see where that would have been a bit of a problem! ;p

2.5 Out Of 5 Stars

For months, Brittany was held hostage by a serial killer, anticipating an excruciatingly painful "party" to begin... A party that was promised to find not only her, but four other captive women killed mercilessly in front of one another. Thankfully, all women were rescued before the party could begin.

Now, nearly eight months later, Brittany is slowly reclaiming her life, beginning with the construction of the deck she'd envisioned during her four months of captivity. This decision brings Alex into her backyard, her life, and into her heart. Sure, what woman wouldn't fall for a man with a nice set of muscles, gentle yet intelligent eyes, and a low slung tool belt? But, ah, it's his genuine soul that, along with his protectiveness and his daughter (yes, I said daughter) that reels her hook, line, and sinker.

As for Alex? Well, sure, he's got eyes for Brittany almost from the second he sees her, but he's also attracted to her inner strength - something his deceased wife lacked. Alex is not in the market for a new wife, let alone a wife for his daughter (Emily), but he can't help the feelings he feels around Brittany... Maybe she's the one...

The plot definitely thickens when someone starts playing cruel jokes on Brittany. Is she losing her mind? Someone who knows the intimate details of her ordeal begins leaving her reminders of her nightmare and promises of a "party" to come. These new twists in Brittany's life has her feeling trapped and has her fearing for not only her safety but for the safety of Alex and anyone else who might get close to her. It might just be time to sever the ties to the relationship that she has come to treasure and rely on the most. How will this game play out? Who will win? Who will lose? And will Alex be the protector and defender that Brittany has come to know and love?

Ms. Cassidy created endearing main characters in Tool Belt Defender. Brittany, Alex, and even Emily were wonderful. Emily, especially, was a firecracker and just added such exuberance to the pages - she was so much fun to read.

I realize this is part of a series, but I read Tool Belt Defender as a stand-alone book and did not feel lost, so that was a plus. I did wonder if perhaps Brittany's time with The Professional was expanded upon in previous books, but I truly have my doubts since those prior books were more than likely surrounding her brothers finding love...

What I liked about the book:
The premise was not an entirely common theme
Again, the main characters were pretty well defined and written well

What I either didn't like or was lukewarm on:
Brittany's time in captivity wasn't expanded upon... It was skimmed over or touched briefly on, so I felt very disconnected from her or her pain/fear
For being a Harlequin novel, there wasn't a high level of "love" or romance - that was really quite low-key
The mystery/overall direction of the story was very predictable, from the "what happened" to the "whodunit"
And finally, for being such a short'ish book, I had a hard time sitting down and reading it. I liken it to a movie where, once over, you judge it by the butt hurt factor... If your butt hurts, you know it wasn't the best movie, if you don't notice any butt pain, it was a really good movie... Well, in the case of a book, if it sucks you in and swallows you (meaning you find that you don't want to put the book down and you finish it right away), you know it was a great book... If you have to give yourself a pep talk in order to read it and it takes a long time to finish the book, well, the book wasn't great... This book, for me wasn't painful, but it wasn't great - it didn't suck me in, it didn't hold me tight... It just patiently waited for me to come back when I was ready pick up the story again.

So, again, it was a 2.5 out of a 5...
I wish Ms. Cassidy all the luck - hopefully this Tool Belt holds just the right tools to capture an attentive audience! Thank you!

Favorite Lines: “”Larry Norwood is dead, but somebody was outside my window, somebody wearing a ski mask just like Larry used to do when he came into the shed.”

She got up from the sofa and walked over to her brother. “Somebody is after me, Tom. I feel it. I know it in the very depth of my being. It’s not over yet for me and I’m afraid.”

Tom hesitated a moment and then released a deep sigh. “Maybe you should talk to somebody about post-traumatic stress.”

“I’m not crazy. I saw what I saw,” she exclaimed with rising anger in her voice.” (p. 77, egalley)

Tool Belt Defender is book five in Carla Cassidy‘s Lawmen of Black Rock series. It’s a romantic suspense that will keep you guessing to the end. It’s not necessary to read the previous four books to get a grip on the story. I’ve only read Tool Belt Defender and I was not confused, but I do believe I’d have been more emotionally involved had I at least read book four, Special Agent’s Surrender prior to attempting the book. A look at the trauma as it occurred instead of watching the result of the trauma.

We are introduced to a woman still in recovery after being held by a madman. She was never raped, but the psychological terror has remained. Now someone has decided to finish what the first man failed to accomplish and no one but Brittany, the original victim feels him coming.

There is nothing worse than knowing danger is stalking you and trying to get help but no one believes you. That, in addition to Brittany’s determination to build a “normal” life, pulled me into Tool Belt Defender. I never thought she was losing her grip on reality, but it was easy to see how those surrounding her might be concerned. How? Well, Cassidy writes the story like an average romance. Girl meets boy and they begin the possible dating dance. Its setting, small town America, shows its face, good and bad and they simply put one foot in front of the other. Until you least expect it and then something happens. So the story moves from slow to fast, then returns to slow before jumping to fast. Some readers may not enjoy the pacing. I did. I think it added to the suspense because the reader is kept on edge waiting for something to happen.

The heroine’s love interest, Alex, was rather ho-hum. He was, however, exactly what the heroine needed steady. You knew exactly what you were getting with him: a widower parenting a little girl. His only concern was the effect Brittany could have on his child. Alex was friendly, compassionate and caring. He was a strong man, but not a lawman which is perfect as Brittany was a deputy before her abduction. I had no fear she would be yanked back into law enforcement before she was ready, if that day were to ever arrive. And Alex’s daughter was the best. She was funny and likeable. One of my favorite moments during the story involved her anger at her father.

Want to know more? Pick up Tool Belt Defender if you are looking for a feel good, romantic suspense. It’s not overly long. It’s not complicated. It’s story about a survivor finding her happily ever after.

My Review:
I don't know what I expected from this book, but it was a definitely a surprise to me. I have never read any of the books from the Harlequin Suspense line and I was surprised at how really very good, gritty, and suspenseful this one was. I also didn't realize that this was #5 in the series, although after I started reading, it occurred to me that there were probably stories for all of Brittany's brothers since they are all newlyweds in this book. Regardless, this is easily a stand-alone book. I didn't miss any of the details because I haven't read the other books, but I have a feeling that they would be equally good since several of them probably take place during the time of Brittany's original abduction.

It's been eight months since Brittany was originally kidnapped and held captive for 4 months by a serial killer. She is finally trying to get on with her life and the first thing on the agenda is to build a deck onto the back of her house where she can celebrate life with her friends and family. She hires her new neighbor Alex to do the job. Alex has only lived in Black Rock for 6 weeks. He's a widower and a lawyer with a 6 yo child. After his wife died, he knew that he couldn't keep up his lawyer's hours in Chicago and still be the kind of parent that Emily needs so he moves to Black Rock where his mother in law lives.

There is immediate chemistry between Alex and Brittany, but neither wants anything to do with a real relationship. Alex has tried marriage once and it was a less than stellar event. Brittany is mentally scarred and honestly doesn't feel that she will ever be able to offer enough of herself to a family. Regardless of this, these two become close.

I felt like the suspense in this was really pretty good. Like I said, it was much more than I expected from a Harlequin series line. The original event was horrific and chilling and when someone starts to copy those events in Brittany's life, it is equally terrifying. I like that Alex and Emily live only three doors down from Brittany. That offered some great opportunities to develop the story that were really believable. I especially loved the sweet moments when Emily ran away. Her character in the story added such an endearing element to it. I also really liked the influence of Rose, Alex's mother-in-law, on the story. She offered some great insight that I really loved.

Overall, this was a great afternoon's read. It kept me entertained. I am a huge fan of romantic suspense and this one definitely did not let me down.

The Tool Belt defender is a story about Brittany and Alex. Brittany has just started coming out of her shell after surviving a horrible ordeal. She was kidnapped and trapped for months with a serial killer who would mentally torture her everyday. She is taking the first step into reclaiming her life and that step would be the construct of a patio that she dreamed about while in captivity. In comes Alex, he is the hunky good looking guy who just moved to town and he is the one going to build her patio. It is instant attraction for these two. Though both are adamant they are not in a place to be in or start a relationship. Alex has no desire to marry again, he was married once and she was not what he thought she was going to be. He has moved to this small town with his six year old daughter to start fresh and be a family. Brittany doesn't believe she is emotionally ready to be in a relationship or be a stepmother to Alex's little girl, especially when she is questioning her sanity.

Brittany starts to believe that she is being stalked again. She is seeing things that bring up memories about her kidnapping and she believes someone is doing this to her on purpose. Brittany's brothers just believe she is experiencing post traumatic stress and won't take her seriously. So she turns to Alex. Alex believes that Brittany believes she is being stalked but he doesn't know what to believe. Bringing someone into his and his daughters life who is unstable is a risk. But is it a bigger risk to ignore his growing feelings for Brittany and leave her to herself with the possibility that she isn't insane and someone is after her again.

This book was a great suspenseful novel. Brittany was a likeable character who had gone through a tough time and was handling things great. Alex was an amazing dedicated dad who you couldn't help but root for. The possibility of another abduction and serial killer was exciting and definitely put a strain on the relationship between the two main characters. It was an exciting and heartwarming story that really showed growth and healing for both the characters. My only complaint was I felt it was too short. These two went from I don't want to be in a relationship to deep feelings for each other within a short span of time. I definitely would have liked a little more suspense and build up of romance. But overall it was a very enjoyable story.

Qui entra in scena Alex.

After surviving an attack from the serial killer The Professional life has not gone back to normal for Brittany Garyson. She feels like she can't leave her house, lead a normal life, or go out in public. But she has decided to not let what happened to her take completely over her life. She decides to move forward on building the deck she always wanted in her back yard.

Alex Crawford is new to town, trying to be closer to his dead wife's mother, because that is the only connection his daughter Emily has left of her mother. After living his life as a lawyer in Chicago, Alex wants a fresh start and to try something new with his life. So he becomes a carpenter.

Alex is just what Brittany needs. In more ways then one. But when little things start to go array; like red balloons showing up on her mail box, an invitation to a party, and other unexplained thing, she feels like The Professional is coming back for her. Her sanity is questioned by her brothers and Alex, and Brittany feels alone and scared. Yet Alex is there to comfort her and get her out of her safe box like no one else has been able to do for months.

As things start to come up there is more then meets the eye and a romance that comes out of no where.

I LOVED this book. It had a little bit of everything. Mystery. Romance. A Back Story.

You may not have known what happened to Brittany with The Professional, but as the story goes on she reveals a little here and there about what happened. You feel for her because even as she feels like she is this scared person, jumping at every shadow, you see her for the strong person she has really become after such a horrific event.

Alex is this man that every girl dreams of. (Well, at least I did) He is handy, wears a tool belt, and is a loving father to a cute little 6 year old. He is a very believable character and lovable.

Overall, I was very impressed and want to find more of Cassidy's books to read.

Just based on the cover, I didn’t think this was going to be a modern romantic suspense story. While this is part of a series, you don’t have to have read any of them before – I didn’t – but it does mention that the main heroine, Brittany, had been kidnapped and held captive and that her brothers had rescued her. So I’m assuming the other books in the series go into her being kidnapped and her brother’s relationships.

So now Brittany has just moved back into her own house after staying with her older brother and his family for a few months after facing death and dodging it. The one thing that got her through the entire ordeal was imagining building a back patio deck for all her family and friends to enjoy. Alex has just moved in down the street, away from the city life, to allow his daughter to live near her grandmother. While he’s always been a successful businessman, he has dreamed of leaving the desk and building with his own two hands. When Brittany needs a back patio built, he contracts himself out to her. Soon it is very evident that there is a serious attraction between the two, but there are so many things to get in the way (as they do) – Brittany’s fear of letting someone else into her heart, Alex’s fear of bringing someone new into his daughter’s life, and then there’s the strange occurrences that keep happening at Brittany’s house – the strange note, the man in the window. Is she just reeling from her tragic ordeal or is someone out there trying to get in?

While it was not was I was expecting, I really enjoyed this book. I thought it was cool that Brittany and her brothers were all policemen and I loved Alex’s daughter! She was so sweet and she and Brittany were so cute together! I could not put it down until the very end! I had to know if Brittany was crazy or if a crazy was really after her!

I really enjoyed this book. The bad guy was a surprise and the tension was kept up well. Emily was a treat and I really liked her energy. I don't think the story would have been as interesting without her, she made the story for me.

I haven't read any of the other books in this series but this one works well as a stand alone as we get all the background needed to get the plot. I do think the other books would be worth a read just because it looks like they all take place while Brittany was being held my the first serial killer and that should create a really interesting dynamic.

This is the fifth in a series - something I didn't know when I started reading it, but becomes kind of obvious as you read on. This would normally bother me, but the author wove the back story in so well that it wasn't a problem. You can definitely read and enjoy this book without having read the others in the series, though I'm going to pick them up just to read them.

In this one, the main character, Brittany, is recovering from having been kidnapped and held prisoner by a serial killer for four months. She has just moved back into her own house after staying with her older brother and his family. One thing that got her through the ordeal was thinking about building a deck for all her family and friends to enjoy. The hero, Alex just moved in down the street in order to allow his daughter to live near her grandmother. He left his high profile lawyer job to become a builder. When the regular contractor in town recommends him to the job, Alex gets the contract. Soon it is evident that there is are sparks between the two, but there are so many things that get in the way,

While some of the violence was discomforting, I enjoyed the fact that not only were Brittany's brothers cops, but so was she. Alex was a bit of a weak character, but the daughter was perfect! Even with the problems (not knowing any of the previous books and the weak hero character), I still enjoyed the book, finishing it in one day. Recommended for anyone who enjoys a good romantic suspense.

This was a fun read. Predictable and typical, but entertaining. It was like a salad for dinner, it fills you up but is missing the meat and potatoes.

First and foremost, it was strange to read a romance novel where the heroine has my name! Good thing Alex wasn't a screamer or it would have been really weird.

Brittany is getting back on her feet after a terrifying kidnapping and escape. She meets Alex, the single father, lawyer turned carpenter and his daughter. She is reluctant to engage in a sexual relationship but soon realizes that she wants to explore a side she has all but forgotten. Alex is trying to raise his daughter after his wife's death and transition from lawyer to small town contractor as well. He is most defiantly not looking for a relationship but can't deny the pull he feels towards Brittany.

I predicted this story to the T. The perp, the gas lighting, the new kidnapping, and the escape. That was a first for me. Where the story lacks in originality it makes up in heart and journey. The heart I felt when Brittany and Alex's daughter interact was so warming. And the journey Brittany went on from recovery to re-injury to savior. Heart & journey were this books saving grace! I will not go out looking for another Carla Cassidy novel but will most definitely read if one lands at my door (or my kindle)!

Thank you NetGalley.com for providing me with this ebook!

This book is the last in the Grayson series.  I have not read the other books.  In this last one Brittany is trying to get her life back after being abducted for 4 months.  She was one of the lucky ones who survived.  One of the first things she wants done is a new deck.  Alex comes in as the deck builder with 2 helpers.  As soon as they meet there is a chemistry brewing but they each have their own reasons for not wanting  a relationship.  Alex is a widow and Emily is his daughter.  She takes up with Brittany right away and they two have a special bond.  Brittany starts getting notes and seeing someone out her kitchen window.  She knows her kidnapper was killed so who is this copy cat trying to get to her.

The story was good the characters were great together.  I like the fact Alex is portrayed as a good father who takes care of Emily.  The setting was described well.  You could get a sense of what was happening and feeling the anxiety.  There were a few things I wished were different. The length of the story was a bit short for my taste as far as the romance between the characters.  Neither one wanted a relationship and then after a week they are thrown together.  Alex is already thinking of what a good step mom Brittany might make.  The other is the suspense would have been better if we could feel Brittany was scared more.

Over all the book was a nice read.

Review: Tool Belt Defender by Carla Cassidy
4 STARS
It kept me surprised till the end. Read it straight through. Would be glad to read more books from Carla.
Brittany Grayson was going to have a deck built on her house. She promised herself while she was held captive that if she survived. She called a local carpenter but he recommended Alex Crawford.
Alex had two young men working for him on different jobs. Alex was a lawyer but
after the death of his wife moved closer to his mother-in-law and became a carpenter. More time to spend with his cute daughter. Alex lived a couple of houses away from Brittany and a block from Emily grandmother Rose.
Brittany was kidnapped and held in a jail in a shed for 4 months before she was found. After awhile 4 others were held to and the Professional had told Brittany every day how he would bring pain and kill her when others were all taken. Her brothers where lawmen finally found her and rescued all of them.
Now someone was watching her and leaving threats her brothers think she needs to get help. Brittany is also thinking maybe she is going crazy.
Emily Alex 6 year old is so cute.
I was given this ebook to read in exchange of honest review from Netgalley.

This was the first book I've read in this series. I feel it can be read as a stand-alone title. My thoughts on Tool Belt Defender are mixed so it falls in the middle of my rating scale - a three.

The positive aspects:

Ms. Cassidy did a fine job painting the gossipy quirks of a small town. This was believable. I also felt the action scenes were well done and vivid. Alex was sexy and everything a woman could want. Finally, the little girl, Emily, was super cute and a sweet addition to the story. I loved her dialog and personality.

** Spoiler Alert **

On the down side:

The author didn't give many suspects, so, chances are you may guess the culprit in the beginning. Story elements were talked about repeatedly. At times I thought the author may have a shortcut key for certain sentences. Finally, the idea of women being held in cages and tortured was a bit much for me. I know this is a suspense title, but that is too gruesome.

** End Spoilers **

Tool Belt Defender has its ups and downs. I'll let it rest in the middle at three stars.

I received a complimentary copy of this title from the author or publisher for review purposes.

It is a story of Brittany after she was being rescue from a psychotic killer. It was not a normal romance kind of story and this book has make me gripping with suspense especially when Brittany's stalker make his appearance at the midsection of the book. I feel sorry for Brittany for the mental torture she have to endured in the hand of her kidnapper It was just too much for one to take. Brttany's character to me is a very storng character in this book. In fact, her strong character has overshadowed the other character, Alex. Because of the loneliness and wanting to forget [in the case of Brittany], both of them make a truce to have a "benefit' relationship based on sexual attraction. But soon, both of them found themselves to be fallen in love with each other. However, with her past memories and possible another pycho chasing after her, Brittany rejected Alex. It took only one incident for her to realised that she need Alex.

Although this is romance book, but the mystery behind the appearance of the pychotic who tries to imitate have me gripping with suspnese and it took me only a day to finish this book. ;)

Fifth in this series, this novel highlights the sister in the Grayson family, a deputy sheriff who has been kidnapped, imprisoned and terrorized for four months and is now trying to put her life and her mind back together. It is a story of the long-term effects that terror victims must face, the hurts and fears that never seem far afield, and the evil that many continue to rain on the victims, especially those who become copy-cat criminals. It is also the story of a young lawyer who has moved to the small community in Kansas in order to give his young daughter a better life and to interact with her grandmother, all especially important in light of her mom's death two years earlier. Neither the erstwhile deputy or the lawyer turned carpenter are interested in a relationship for a variety of reasons. But of course, this is a love story so we all know where this is headed. However, this is a well-written novel that squarely faces the meaning and implications of crimes of terror on the victims and the triumphs of the human spirit that make it possible to begin again. Really a very, very good read

I liked this final installment to Ms. Cassidy's Lawmen of Black Rock series. This series tells the stories of five siblings who are law enforcement in a small town. Each story was compelling but this final book was Brittany's story.

Brittany had been kidnapped by a serial killer in the first book. She played a pivotal roll throughout the series because her brothers were searching for her. Brittany's story starts out with her being at home after having been in a cage in the serial killer's hideout for 4 months. After being rescued she has yet to move back home but it's time to grow up and handle things for herself.

There is one huge problem with this. She is being stalked by a copycat killer. He is trying to reenact Brittany's first abduction and he plans to be successful. He plans to kill her.

In comes Brittany's savior. Her neighbor and builder, Alex Crawford. Alex is a widow with a young daughter who has taken a liking to Brittany. Alex isn't looking for love and neither is Brittany but the love bug bites them both. It's interesting to see how they make a relationship work since they both have relationship issues from the past.

Too much violence against women and children for me to really enjoy this story.

Reading about a survivor of a serial killer must be almost as scary as writing about one. I knew Brittany's story would be a revealing one and I was sympathetic but she didn't have any strength until the very end so it was a long read for me.

Alex seemed to be too smitten with her appearance and rather than behaving like an educated man, he clearly had no idea of the dangers of being involved with Brittany so soon after her captivity. No one should have expected her to slip easy into the role of wife and mother let alone girlfriend.

Perhaps a longer elapsed time from her rescue would have made the recovery more probable, I don't know. I can't help but worry about the repercussions for Alex's sweet daughter at the conclusion of TBD.

In Tool Belt Defender, Brittany Grayson finally returns to her home after surviving abduction by a crazed murderer. She is understandably nervous, but desires to return to a life as normal as possible. Suddenly, she begins to receive messages and signs of being watched, but since her abductor is dead, she might just be crazy. The contractor she has hired to build her deck draws her interest along with his daughter, but the stalker is shaking her vow to go on with her life.

Cassidy’s Tool Belt Defender gives the reader several hours of enjoyable escapism in that land of happy ending with a few twists and turns along the way to keep the reader guessing until the end. Definitely a choice for the romantics.

Fun - not edge of your seat suspense but a bit freaky.
