If you decide to read this biography, don't start by reading the Introduction. The Introduction completely tells the story of James II before you ever get to Chapter 1. It was sort of like reading the end of the book before the beginning. I already knew the information the author was going to present but I kept reading hoping for more - I could have stopped after the Introduction.
