I heard this author recently on the radio and he said he wrote this book because his 12-year-old nephew didn't have any inclination to read fiction as nothing was really available to suit his age group. I too have a reluctant 12-year-old male reader so I thought we would give PAYBACK IN TIME a try, with great success! My son even turned down a game of football to finish reading this book, high praise indeed!

We read this off the back of enjoying another book by the same guy. While this one looks like more SF than Hawkfasts, which is a Brave / Tree Fu Tom / Echo McCool sort of thing, its still more fantasy / magic. Imagine Quantum leap or Dr Who without the science clouding things and youre there. My kids lapped it up!
