Award-winning author Cate Masters loves stories of any genre. Multi-published in contemporary to historical, fantasy/dark fantasy to paranormal, she sometimes mashes genres.
Yes, Okay, I am a bit biased - after all, I'm one of the authors but I'm not here to blow my own trumpet. This is a great selection of paranormal short stories and what makes it good is that they are all so different. Jay Di Meo's angel story is hot, hot and hot! Her descriptions are fantastic and I really loved both guys. DL Jackson has a great imagination and her story is spooky and sweet- and I just love the title. Cate Masters gets to the heart of a man made of stone, and who can fail to love a gargoyle like this one! Read the story and you'll see why love is so important! And Arlene Webb - whose story is both sexy and terrifying has produced a riveting tale where a charity run goes horribly wrong, but don't worry - there's a happy ending. We ALL believe in a happy ever after.
And my story? Dragons racing - my usual mix of humor and sex - I'll say no more - told you I wouldn't blow my own trumpet.

I did not enjoy this book at all. I guess it just wasn't for me. I'm sure there will be many people who will find this satisfying. I honestly just cringed throughout the book. Some stories were just okay while others........well, you just read for yourself. It's very rare that I give a book 1 star. And I believe everyone should read and rate any book for themselves. Variety is the spice of life. This just wasn't the seasoning for me.
If I'm honest, I only really liked the first story... I read this 10 days ago and I had to check what the others were about. The dragon's story was good, it felt complete and I would love to read a longer version. The rest were good but not all that catching. The last one, wow... it didn't make any sense to me. I have no idea what it was about.
